her nails are so clean and beautiful. she's freaking amazing at nail art. very steady, creative, cute, consistent. i love it. japan is freaking PERFECT. even the music is so relaxing. why can't i do something wonderful like this -.-
#LilyToy it's not paint. But it is acrylic powder. It's called 3D sculpture acrylic. You need monomer and a 3D nailart brush to create it. Acrylic powder comes in many colors and consistencies. The 3D powder is the consistency of clay. But it dries quickly, so work fast!!
i agree with @FurHever. i've had 3D nail art done before, and the shapes formed from the acryl powder last quite a while - none of them chipped or dented at all for over 1 week!
Ailsa Sun I just got a very similar gel nail art in Tokyo and they are still beautifully there after over a month! It’s time to take them off and I just can’t let go of them!!! They are really strong nails, retail store associate and busy mother of four approved! Just give it a try!
Arrigato! I will have to try these out sometime! I subscribed to your channel and will be watching more of yours vids! I do wish they had English subtitles, though.
@Cizzmc123 it's the acrylic liquid. You mix the liquid and the powder to make the ball you put on your nail to form the shapes. @snowkitty33 it's the acrylic powder mixed with acrylic liquid. I'm pretty sure this can also be done with nail gel
even though it says that these are for experts, there not as hard as they make out. ive been doing my own acrylic nails for about 4 months at home without any lessons or nail tech course (i did a little bit of sculpting in art but thats hardly the same) and i managed to do these almost exactly the same as they are in the vid. never think you dont have enough experience to do something like this, if you dont get to grips with it streight off, practise on some paper untill you get the hang of it!!
@AkaneDee i think she's just demonstrating on the proper way to do it. my japanese is limited. But she's saying something like it's not right if the pick up is too big or too powdery. probably. that's around 3:38
@soundxcrash it's acrylic. you should be able to get it at sally's beauty supply or any other beauty supply store that carries nail supplies. i would ask the people working about how to work with the acrylic. how does it set and all of that. most of the time i've seen a uv sealant used over it which is then cured with a uv light but i think that's only to give it added shine and seal everything in.
wow thanks that tip helps I could scoop smoother beads now, but still got problem with clear & clear pink, still kinda fast drying and hard to spread so I have to really apply it fast ...do you think that the quality of the brush have something to do with it? I am using a kinda thin brush so im thinking maybe its thin so it does not absorb much monomer to make smoother mixture.
@meandmybrother13 the watery stuff is a kind of liquid to make the acrylic powder liquid. i dont know the names exactly, for that u have to use google :)

Beautiful petals on the 3D flower, and the pearls and rhinestones made it over-the-top. What I think of as real Japanese style.
Has your views changed of this “over the top” nail art? Cuz I see this everywhere now. And it’s seen as elegant.
Lol.
I love videos like this~
I could watch this forever if i couls.
If your right handed, doing this successfully with your left hand is a sign.a sign that you rock at life.
they even showed NG's of the acrylic! that's very thoughtful and must be useful for beginners.
The amount of effort that goes into ONE nail is the same amount of effort i put into my nails yearly...
that's the power of japanese, they can make ANYTHING entertaining xD
My #1 favorite nail design!!! I watch this everyday! I will learn this one day, I promise you!

i agree with @FurHever. i've had 3D nail art done before, and the shapes formed from the acryl powder last quite a while - none of them chipped or dented at all for over 1 week!

I like how they work really nicely
That is some heavy duty topcoat that could not only seal those designs in, but to also be able to hold the diamonds, etc on the nail. Wow

I love your channel
I mean literally I love nails and stuff like that but how can I enjoy something so much I can't even understand it :D
its acrylic, its what salons use to make nail extentions :) you dip the brush in the liquid then into the powder for form a ball of acrylic.
last nails is amazing
I love it. Adigato!
gosh i love the second one ;-;
I'd fail at trying to make that pretty flower though~~
Arrigato! I will have to try these out sometime! I subscribed to your channel and will be watching more of yours vids! I do wish they had English subtitles, though.

its liquid monomer, a acrylic liquid, it is used with the powder to create a polymer chain making it into a solid :)
you make it easier to learn

They were ahead of time.
very steady hands!!!!!!!
fascinating to watch the construction of the flower and beads....super tight nail art
yeah I agree, Japanese people must be very patient, I do not have that patience to do those designs, I would go mad!
wow, they are EXTREMELY patient.
Muchisimas Gracias!
I like the second one.
@AkaneDee i think she's just demonstrating on the proper way to do it. my japanese is limited. But she's saying something like it's not right if the pick up is too big or too powdery. probably. that's around 3:38
Wow, Now that is having patience.........................
You must go through Top Coat nail polish bottles like crazy.
That second design seems perfect for a wedding ... in fact I kinda wanna get married just to have it done LOL
Did anyone else only understand her say top coat ? Or was that just me XD

what is that stick she uses to pick up the decorating stuff? how does the stuff stick to the stick? sorry if my questions are silly.
TheBookCover12 some of them call it a wax pencil/stick I think
@dariakaos
no it's acrylic powder, u can buy it on ebay, but remember the liquid too!xD
