It's interesting the difference between what players on the field see/feel compared to what viewers see. I remember one of the commentators (Lepler?) saying "If Ring turns this into a huck fest they're going to lose" and it seems from the video like Ring was specifically looking to take advantage of mis-timed poaches for deep looks. I'm curious if you feel like that was a good take from the commentator or not...
What do you think is the best move when you are inactive in the stack, and your defender poaches into the lane. Do you run just straight opposite to the break side hoping for a hammer over top or a swing then making a vertical cut? Or do you come down in the handle position and switch spot with a handler, although they could just switch then too. Idk, is there something you think works best?
