I wish you could do a whole segment on the tug. What When and why. I can see that selling today as a farm vehicle or small truck line. I have a 46. CJ2. I really enjoy it. But it really doesn’t need to be used as much anymore. I’m happy with the way it looks. I would be afraid to have it look as nice as yours. But all of the parts are still there. 6 volts
I guess the 8 others MT TUGS got destroyed by getting bullets in the gas tank located in between the driver and passenger so they exploded. Very nice restoration. Congrats.

The steering wheel likely drops down so it can be stacked when shipped.
