1:36 - OLED doesn't have "backlight control" - it's not an LCD :)
OK so Samsung OLED tvs dont play Dolby Vision and LG dont play HRD10+ ex : S90c vs LG C3.
But:
If DV is 12 bit and there's no 12 bit tvs yet, this means that LG really is not playing the full version of DV but instead it uses some tweeking technique like 8bit FDR ? Now this would be lying and you would be paying for a tv that does not deliver the goods plus the model C3 for example has less of a gamut of colors compare to the S90C .. adding to the problem of DV 64 millions or billions of combinations of colors that this tv is not able to show!
Am I missing something here?
The C3 is a very nice TV but I think it falls short to the S90C. The S90C is brighter and more vivid for light and colors. The S90C is also slightly a better gaming TV. QD OLED is better technology. I do think the C3 is a better TV compared to the A80L. It’s a shame LG didn’t include MLA on the C3….
C3 has better contrast and Black Levels then the s90c
@@mycolortv1 sorry to bother you but the S90 with QD OLED tech is simply better. Better with HDR content and Gaming. If you want to say C3 is better at SDR then sure. It’s like saying it does better at polishing a turd.

If you want a expert opinion just look at what Rtings says..smart a#$,,and as for HDR..oh thats right no Dolby Vision on Sammy
I looked at both the other day at Best Buy and the C3 looked better to me. Samsungs colors are exaggerated and cartoonish and I’ve had Samsung tv in the past and they’re cheaply made with connection problems. I’ll take the c3 over it any day
