So nice to see more and more people becoming vegan. Not only that but also young people cooking proper healthy and delicious meals. Because if you want to be healthy vegan you have to cook yourself and not rely on ready meals from supermarkets. Thanks you so much for new ideas. It's always a pleasure to watch you. 💚💚💚
Your videos just always make me smile. Even the sponsor part is so beautiful and genuine...I honestly love your attitude towards filming, editing as well as the choice of topics. Full respect for your fantastic work!
Hi Malin, in the south of Italy especially Basilicata and Puglia black chickpeas are cooked with cardoncelli mushrooms (no idea of the english word:) in a kind of soup and topped with cooked dark greens (we call it cicoria). These types of dishes are traditionally vegan as people could not afford to eat meat. Love your content, xo from Milan
When soaking chickpeas add 1/2 a teaspoon of baking soda rinse it the next day then cook for 20 mins in a pressure cooker. Et viola! Works everytime 👌🏻👍🏼 Love your channel ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Thanks a lot for sharing so many vegan recepies. I’m in the way to begin vegan with some difficulties as it’s stil difficult for me to forget eggs , cheese and milk......but I’m sure I will! Just 2 suggestions if I can (I hope not seems inappropriate), the 1st one: to avoid to remove the lemon zest one by one once you have cooked the chikpeas, you could put them into a small gauze bag so that you can easely remove it later; 2nd one: if you add the salt at the end of cooking, the peal of chickpeas will remain softer. I’m really sorry for my bad english 😅....thanks again to be so sweet, polite and enthusiast....I sincerely hope that your channel grows quickly because you really deserve it!
Will try every single one of these beautiful recipes! And I just wanted to tell you how inspiring you are and everything you put up on this Channel :) so nice and refreshing! Thank you a lot, Malin! Love and greetings 🌟
That's 100% what I need :D I've recently cooked more than 1kg of chickpeas: made falafels and hummus plus froze a lot of them as well as the reduced aquafaba so I will definitely need more ideas for them :D
I made your mayo and it was so good! I didn't expect such a creamy finish! Thank you Malin. I love watching your videos again and again. Really inspiring.x
All three recipes are so creative! I feel like I've seen a million curry inspired chickpea stew recipes so really fun seeing you use things like lemon rind, and making mayo and tuna sammies. Not sure which one to try first!
What a beautiful video Malin! Those recipes all look delicious, I definitely have to try them :) I also love all the ceramics you're using. May I ask where they are from?
What a fantastic video, who knew chickpeas came in different colours😮 I like to add grated carrot to my chickpea tuna. Will be trying the mayo, you make it look so simple. Thank you Malin. Xx
I JUST made the mayo for my (non-vegan) husband. He loves (real) mayo and is a very harsh critic... He was a HUGE fan of your recipe and I will continue to make this vs. purchasing vegan mayo. Thanks so much!
Just loved the recipes! It’s really important to peel the chickpeas once they are cooked so we can get rid of the huge concentration of phytate present on their skin, which is really bad for our health and digestion. Thank you so much for your videos, they are perfect! 💕✨
Nice range of chickpea recipes, that vegan 'tuna' looks delicious. The hint about soaking time is great. I've tried making chickpea tofu using gram flour, that was great. Two chickpea ideas that I thought were good are chickpea cookie dough, and using aquafaba in chickpea omelettes. It's always enjoyable to watch good cooks in action.
I enjoy your videos so much! The food, the imagery and just overall feel is so lovely. I would also love to know what kind of dishes and kitchen supplies you use. I love the plates!
I love chickpeas! I did a Chickpea tuna salad on my channel and it was 👌 Love this video. Definitely going to try making the mayo. Thanks for sharing❤️
This mayo looks dope! (and I don't even like regular mayo, ahah) I got black chickpeas once at my local grocery store. They taste no different from the beige ones, but they are maybe a little bit drier in texture :) I did hummus with them, also using black tahini to make an all-black hummus! It turned out to be rather grey, so I think I'll add charcoal powder next time, just for fun!
I love chickpeas too, in savory and sweets recipe. I put them in almost everything, stews, currys , soups, salads , tuna sauce and hummus , but I also made blondies and brownies and cookies out of chickpeas. Not very keen on aquafaba though
Another beautiful upload, Malin! I absolutely love chickpea salad and haven't made it in awhile! This will be on the menu for lunch. :) And I was just about to make your beetroot stew when I saw this! Too many good meals to choose from. ;)
Mayo is so expensive, plus the kind I like has been out of stock lately. I have been looking for a good recipe. How do you adjust it to make it lower fat?
I think the fat is unfortunately the important part.. :( but if you use a cold pressed rapseed oil and soy milk, it's actually not that bad, kind of healthy fats :) maybe it works with linseed or avocado oil?
So glad your back. I actually cook the green and black chickpeas , I purchase from my local Indian market here in Culver City California. Usually you have to cook them way longer even when soaking over night. So I use a pressure cooker ninjafoodi on 40 minutes high pressure and then if they are still not soft enough I do an additional 15-20 min on high pressure. 😀 And then use them in any recipe. I use the kala Channa ( black chickpeas) in a mock vegan chili recipes . So I replace them for the red kidney bean instead. It is really good 😋 my Instagram is @myvegansol 😀
I really hope one day this channel makes enough money to make this your full time job, because I just love your videos so much 💓💓
totally agree. I'd be willing to support via Patreon if you ever wanted to do that Malin!
It is really one of best quality channels I know! ♥︎

Yesterday I made vegan "tuna" mayo. It’s delicious :) thank you for your great recipes and beautiful videos!

Love this series! 😊 I love chickpea tuna, I usually add in some flaked nori for that sea flavour. X
I love chickpeas! I did a Chickpea tuna salad on my channel and it was 👌 Love this video. Definitely going to try making the mayo. Thanks for sharing❤️
Wow! I didn’t know chickpeas came in other colors, either! Now I'll be on the lookout 😆

In Jordan we eat the green chickpeas rosted with salt 😋

hi! can i use olive oil?
How long can you store aquafaba in a fridge, please?
Mayo is so expensive, plus the kind I like has been out of stock lately. I have been looking for a good recipe. How do you adjust it to make it lower fat?
I think the fat is unfortunately the important part.. :( but if you use a cold pressed rapseed oil and soy milk, it's actually not that bad, kind of healthy fats :) maybe it works with linseed or avocado oil?
Is it possible to make this mayonnaise without the oil? I am WFPB with no oil.I’m sure the answer is no but thought I ‘d ask anyway. Thank you.
You can make tofu mayonnaise, its low fat!
You can bye black chickpeas in Netto now and then, both canned and dry.

Grant har precis börjat sälja gröna kikärter i frysdisken! Har inte testat men är pepp:)
The cooking starts at 6:47
I use an instant pot to cook my chickpeas. No soaking needed. Just set the timer and walk away. I'm not much of a forward planner.

I heard that adding salt to beans before they cook messes with the cooking process is that untrue?
recipes start 6:45!
Green chick peas are only the young/immature version of the brown chick pea.
You know thhe difference between garbanzo beans and chickpeas? I never paid 200$ to have a garbanzo bean on my face.
