The effort you put in to learn the traditional way of cooking these dishes and trying to recreate them with the ingredients available to you is really commendable !! Lots of love from India♥️
Nourish bowl: definitely a concept a practice ALL THE TIME. So versatile, filling, comforting and beautiful - and let's be honest, we eat with our eyes too! And a tahini dressing is my fave as well - so easy and delicious!
Well it’s no secret I love all your videos. This one is once again very well put together and I love the recipes. But I guess what I love even more is reading the comments. They’re all so nice and supportive and I’m so glad you’re getting known to the world and there’s so much positivity here. You deserve all of this and even more! Keep it up Malin, you’re very appreciated. Kind regards, Yanaika
Malin I so love how you make all your recipes so simple to make that I am not scared to try to make any . My husband has a very sensitive tummy and many spices bother him so I have to be careful there. So love what you and Rob are doing. 💓💓💓
This is the first time I saw a veg UA-cam introducing mung bean dal! It is a great comfort food. It is also used in Ayurveda to simply balance the system. I have just done a seasonal diet with mung bean dal. Greeting from Taiwan!❤️
You have me inspired to start adding more plant based foods to my diet! I appreciated that your recipes are basic and don't require a lot of ingredients or fancy preparation. I know I feel better when I eat this way.
Nice video! When I listen to you speaking english as not a native english woman, I think that speaking english is such an easy thing!! I wish I could speak english like you! Otto, from Hungary
Thank you Otto for this compliment! I have had a lot of practice speaking English living with Rob who speaks only English. Also I lived in the UK for about 5 years where I got the chance to really broaden my vocabulary and get to know the language better. 😊
I enjoyed this video with my morning oats 😍 Lately I'm putting cardamom, blueberries (frozen), flax and chia seeds, maple syrup to sweeten plus walnuts and coconut flakes! This was so full of helpful info + inspiration! I definitely want to try your hummus bowl meals! Thank you Malin! 💖
I love how you introduce dishes and spices that the western audience might not be familiar with, as many asian and african countries have staple plant-based dishes that are just absolutely delicious! Thank you for recommending all the spices and dishes, and will check out the websites you mentioned :)
My vegan diet consists of most of the dishes you eat weekly. Although my meals are delicious, they never look as beautiful as your recipes. I have been following you for a few months and you challenged and inspired me on creating not just delicious meals but pleasing to the eye as well.
I just tried the blueberry smoothie. I added cauliflower and zucchini which I had in the freezer. It was delicious! I also like to make chana masala with jasmine rice. Thanks for all your wonderful ideas. I have to work at eating more vegetables. Will be making the hummus next.
Thank you for all these ideas. It is truly inspiring! I also really like the artistic touch in the way of filming and the beauty of the dishes ... It's a whole, these videos are very relaxing ... Greetings from Belgium!
I agree with Molly Pearson.. your video's are pure gold. I watch them to not only get idea's.. But also to relax. they are like a soothing meditation. Love from Australia to you in Sweden
Your plating is always absolutely gorgeous! Makes me very excited for spring because I’m thinking of all these combos, the herbs and spices. Inspired to make some nourish bowls for lunch this week. And maybe a daal for dinner - I serve it like soup too lol. It’s like a hug in a bowl.
Your recipes look amazing! I have had all of these meals in different versions, but I am excited to try some of your suggestions. Thank you for helping to add additional flavor, interest, and texture ideas to my vegan dishes!
Great recipes as always! Thanks for sharing 😍 By the way, when you pronunce your name, I always think of a raspberry. In Polish, when you add a letter ''a'' to your name, you'll get ''Malina'' which literally means a ''raspberry'' 😊
You are a healthy person as to what you are eating as it's all good for you in the end am just happy that I got in to your UA-cam video as am going to be using what you do as to cooking .Thank you.
Malin, I love watching your videos. They are so well prepared. Your dishes and every single ingredient look so delicious. Amazing photography. You make my vegan journey easier and more pleasant. Greetings from Chicago.
Not boring at all! I eat all of these things regularly so it is nice to see how you eat them so I can change things up without too much effort. You could be talking about showing clips of how to freeze ice and it would be aesthetically pleasing enough to watch.
Thanks for this video and the recipe ideas Malin. I love oats with Cinnamon and seeds (usually a mixture of Sunflower, Pumpkin, Flaxseed and either sesame seeds or hemp seeds in the UK you can buy mixture of seeds so it depends on the brand/retailers whether it's sesame or hemp seeds). I also like chia seeds. I will occasionally eat mixture of nuts instead.
As usual, you've produced a beautiful and accessible video of the most delicious food I've ever seen! :) I've made many of your recipes and they always turn out and are really popular in my family. In fact, I always keep a jar of pickled red onions in the fridge because of you! I would LOVE to see a spring-inspired meal prep. Is that something you would consider for a future video? Thank you for your fantastic videos and recipes!
It is so nice to watch your videos: so well made, such beautiful images, and you have such a kind aura! And I tried a lot of your recipes and they were delicious. Thank you! Lots of love from Berlin :)
Looks so good Malin. I'll definitely try the dal recipes. Thanks for sharing! I love oatmeal too and just switch up the toppings depending on what's on hand. I love yogurt (Kite Hill is what I get) too topped with hemp seeds, chia seeds and grain free granola with fresh blueberries, strawberries or banana.
So glad you like the look of my go tos Jennifer 😊 Sharing is my pleasure! I also love fresh berries on my oats, can't wait for summer and berry season. 🤗
Soo nice you sharing some traditional Indian foods that you've been learning. During these Covid times I have really invested time into learning traditional Korean cooking, making my own kimchi and bibimbap and Korean soups and stews, because I was missing the Korean restaurants I used to live near to in London. It's been such a joy in such a complex time. Also so impressed you used the word arsenal aha I am British and I don't think I've ever used that word aha! Tack så mycket Malin!
Oats: I am too lazy to cook these on the stovetop and I prefer them thicker BUT other than that, I really like the add-ins and toppings you chose! Nut butter, flax, sth crunchy (nuts, seed puffed grains) and fruits are all musts for me! I also really like them savoury from time to time as it is a tasty way to switch up this simple but nutritious meal!
Thanks for the recipe ideas .. They are very practical and delicious. Oatmeal and hummus are recipes that I eat every day and they are delicious. Thanks and regards to rob
baigan bharta ( aubergine dish ) is made in my home frequently we have daal with it and also rice and chapati , so u got the combination correct i think
Thank You for the wonderful videos you post 🙏🏻 I’m a beginner and I’m learning a lot from your videos.... love all your recipes, also I love all your Plates , Bowls and Utensils that you use .... Can you please share where you get them from ? Again Thank You! Cant wait for your next Video 😌
I'm so pleased you feel like you're learning something from my videos and that they are helpful to you 😊 I have made a few of the plates, bowls and cups I use and my other favourites are from UK pottery brand NOM living 😍
I have enjoyed your videos immensely! You are delightful!♥️💝 Every one of your recipes looks delicious. Do you have a cookbook? If not, I highly recommend that you do. It would be a best seller! Thank you for your constant inspiration 🙏🏼
Thank you very much for this sweet and encouraging message Deb! I really appreciate your kind words 😊 I don't have a cookbook (yet) but would love to write one one day. Wishing you a lovely day 🤗💛
Thank you for this nice video. The third possibility for oats is simply to pour over them boiling water, and leave them (it doesn't take long for them to become soft), and then add other ingredients. I like to add a smoothie made of banana, dates, flax and chia seeds, goji berries, nut butter, cocoa powder spirulina, maca,... and on top of that cut, all kinds of fruits I have in the house. After that, there is no need for snacks, just one more meal in a day is more than enough (even if you train hard or you are a Ballerina or an Ultrarunner or a Superman,...).
Hello there!! Love like always your videos 💕💕💕💕 Today I made hummus and added ice cubes and OMG !! it was delicious. It is not the same when you add water. This time I did it without water, I just added ice. Thanks for sharing this little secret.
I really admire how varied your meals are. They certainly look tasty too. I was 100% plant-based for 10 years of my life and then eventually I added back dairy, eggs and fish. Then in the past year and a half I reverted back to 💯 plant-based diet. However no matter what diet I eat, I have the hardest time digesting any plant foods, particularly legumes, cruciferous vegetables, nuts and seeds, oats and wholegrains, onions and garlic. I end up with so much gas, bloating and discomfort daily. I have no interest in a diet that includes animal foods, but I feel quite discouraged eating plant-based too due to the experiences I have. This has been a life long challenge which doesn't seem to be going away. The majority of plant-based vloggers have said that the more you eat these foods, the more your digestive system will adapt. That has not been the case for me. Any advice you can offer? Thanks for bringing such beautiful content.
Hello...I have IBS and my story is similar to yours. All grains and certain legumes are particularly problematic for me. I'm so envious of those who can tolerate oatmeal and other grains, as well as so many varieties of legumes. I'm still mostly plant-based, but I've had to go grain-free. I feel much better, but it is challenging sometimes to feel satiated since I basically eat low carb (due to cutting out grains). I try to make up for it by eating lots of potatoes! 😊 I hope you can find a solution to your challenges and enjoy more of these nutritious foods, but the most important thing is to eat in a way that makes you feel healthy...even if you're not 100% plant-based. 😉🙏
Hi there 😊 Thank you for your kind words and I'm sorry to hear you're struggling with your digestion, I can relate to this. Although you seem to have a harder time then I do these days for sure. For many people the gassy discomfort you might sense as a beginner while food eating vegan does dissipate but for some, like you, it might not. This could have to do with some underlying issue that is making you sensitive to these foods. I would recommend seeing a health professional that specialise in these types of issues and also look for someone who is positive to a plant based diet. Not saying that you should see someone who won't be flexible around treatments but rather someone who knows about the intricacies of a plant based diet so that they can help you in the best way 😊 I wish you all the best and hope you can find the help you need to feel better! 🤗
@@GoodEatings thank kindly for your advice. In the meantime, I would love to see some plant based recipes that might not include legume and grains. Keep on bringing such beautiful content 🙏🏿
Fun fact, because I think many people do not know that: sauerkraut is a VERY typical German food (mostly southern Germany I think). If I would tell my grandmother, that sauerkraut is eaten by people all over the world and that it is super trendy, she would not believe me haha P.S.: great video. No knew ideas for me, but great to be remembered of old favourites that I just "forgot" about
I've only just discovered your channel through Alexandra (fivesechealth) and oh my goodness Malin! Your videography and aesthetics is truly so so stunning. so excited to continuing watching your beautiful and inspirational content xx
Am so happy to listen to you as to give them a try I don't eat meat as I like veg and oats and oat milk or water ..well done as it's all good in the end as to be healthy Thank you.
Smoothie: not a smoothie person at all ( I prefer to eat my food than drink it ;P) but in the summer, I do sometimes make these. Especially a fan of a wild blueberry or strawberry based smoothies but I never add bananas - just not my thing. Highly recommend adding some plant based yoghurt for that creamy mouthfeel if you want to switch thing up from time to time!
I just subscribed. I desperately need some ideas. I went from being vegetarian to vegan about 2 years ago. It has been a bit of a struggle to eat clean, but if I follow your method I'm sure I can't go wrong. Thank you for these wonderful recipes.
I'm surprised by how many vegans ignore Indian food! Your recipes look delicious, and you should definitely seek out the asafoetida. It smells a bit rough but adds wonderful flavor :)
I enjoyed watching your video for the first time I will be changing again to add some of your ideas to my meal preparations. I am not totally vegan yet, but I include a lot of fresh vegetables with my meal and that include steaming a sweet potato or fresh asparagus. I live in a very small size apartment. I would love a larger kitchen siZe to meal prep and prepare my meals. 90 percent of the foods you use daily I also include in my meal reoaratiôn
Hello, Malina! I just found your channel and how amazing it is! I see how much effort you put in every single detail and all those details are just.... love. I appreciate an aesthetic so much and enjoyed your video, thank you thank thank you for that) And also i admire of your plates, they are absolutely what i would love to have in my house. I brought from Bali few of them, but cannot find something like this in Germany and Europe. I mean... there are a lot of ceramics, but not what i am looking for.. Could you tell me please brands or shops where did you buy this beauty?
I like to eat a version of something called "baião de dois" here at northeast of Brazil. Its rice and green beans with little cubes of pumpkings and a type of gherkin very common here in these region, called "maxixe". In the original recipe goes cheese and dried beef, so obviously they are out for a vegan version. Come here guys and I'll cook for you and Rob! Beijo!!!
Love all the recipes you make! I had a baby a year ago and unfortunately I've been very lazy in the kitchen (for my meals, I make a lot of efforts to make balanced meals for the little one lol) - I need to take better care of myself ... Just one question though, I am not Indian but I think I've heard you're supposed to cook turmeric otherwise it has a bitter flavour? Have you tried making this dish by adding turmeric to the spice mix before you add the spinach? I will definitely try making this with tampered spices as I always cook everything together :)
I make japanese curry ( a very different beast from SE Asian curry ). I also make soy milk ramen using fresh soy milk I make using a Korean soy milk maker. It's a habit I started years ago as I was sad about all the aseptic carton waste. Bonus is the leftover soy pulp you can make into tortillas, cookies, cakes . I even make a baked oat dish with the pulp, rolled oats, mashed banana and frozen berries. These are my weekly favorites.
How do you cook the aubergine for the Indian dish, do you put them in a gas flame or do you have another method? I often eat the italian aubergine dish called caponata and also like dahl and soups/stews with lentis.
Asafoetida will definitely bring the stink to your home but funny enough it is really helpful in preventing yourself from developing gas! I think the flavor is a really nice addition but I am way too afraid to bring it to my home 😅
The effort you put in to learn the traditional way of cooking these dishes and trying to recreate them with the ingredients available to you is really commendable !! Lots of love from India♥️
I honestly think that of all the vegan & whole food youtubers your meals are the most beautiful! I need to buckle down are make these meals.

Highly recommend adding some plant based yoghurt for that creamy mouthfeel if you want to switch thing up from time to time!
I love how your eyes matched the background for your voiceover :D They are have such a beautiful, deep blue color!
I just subscribed. I desperately need some ideas. I went from being vegetarian to vegan about 2 years ago. It has been a bit of a struggle to eat clean, but if I follow your method I'm sure I can't go wrong. Thank you for these wonderful recipes.
A lot of people don’t like the smell of asafoetida but I do. It used to be called ‘devil’s dung’! Very good for the, um, wind.
Haha, I didn't know this! I must get my hands on some so I can finally experience this 'devil's dung' 😅
I'm surprised by how many vegans ignore Indian food! Your recipes look delicious, and you should definitely seek out the asafoetida. It smells a bit rough but adds wonderful flavor :)
Nice upload, informative content. thanks for sharing! Have a relaxed week!🎧🎵😎
I see how much effort you put in every single detail and all those details are just.... love.
I appreciate an aesthetic so much and enjoyed your video, thank you thank thank you for that)
And also i admire of your plates, they are absolutely what i would love to have in my house.
Beijo!!!
amazing! but how do you deal with feeling bloated? i mostly feel bloated when i consume so much of especially winter veggies and legumes. thanks!
I will definitely try making this with tampered spices as I always cook everything together :)
you are soooo great !!!
My favourite staples too 🥰
😘🤗
I like to buy big bags of kale and freeze them, then pop them into my smoothies. Fresh bagged kale keeps well in the freezer.
Beautiful footage!
Love the oatmeal bowls. Can you link them?
How do you cook the aubergine for the Indian dish, do you put them in a gas flame or do you have another method? I often eat the italian aubergine dish called caponata and also like dahl and soups/stews with lentis.
Love love love
Loved this video 🤗
Asafoetida will definitely bring the stink to your home but funny enough it is really helpful in preventing yourself from developing gas! I think the flavor is a really nice addition but I am way too afraid to bring it to my home 😅
You seem like such a lovely person that I just enjoy visiting with you.
I give Malin's videos a Like even before I watch them :)
😍🤗
