I think Jess has to one of my favourite presenters. I’m quite an unfit person, I can’t run a 5k, therefore I run/walk a 5k and slowly building myself up. I always feel self-conscious about how hard I’m breathing and that other people will see how unfit I am, but Jess always shows me that even really fit people who run races and marathons breathe hard when they’re pushing themselves to improve

cheers to you. You can do it :). Like me well above 100kg started to run 1,5 years ago. minute by minute getting better and able to do a 10k in 1:05:24. If you keep running you will be improving and getting fitter. Thumbs up :)

Watching someone achieve a PB is so inspiring and so relatable. It doesn't matter your pace or experience, we all go through the same thoughts, physical exertion and emotions, whether it is a sub 60 minute 10k or a 38 minute (beyond the reach of most of us) target. Well done Jess and keep up the fantastic videos!

Solid effort Jess. Smiling that genuinely while running at 3:40 pace is beyond my comprehension. I've never quite managed sub 40 but after a year of endurance events this year, next year ive got 5 and 10k PBs in the crosshairs.

Awsome job! I'm 58 years old and will be running my first 10K July 4th in Atlanta. I'd love to try out those shoes! I started running 9 months ago after spending 10 years sitting behind a desk without any exercise. My motivation is I want to live healthfully for as long as possible, both for my daughter and for myself. 😊

I'm really new to running - started Couch to 5k last July as an unfit 31 year old mum who has never been able to run, but recently completed my first EVER 10k race round Colchester Zoo 😃
I have just introduced speed workouts as a result of everything I've learnt from TRC after finding you guys a few weeks ago and cannot even FATHOM a 3:45km 10k pace - I can't even do that speed across a 50m sprint 😅 honestly so impressive and inspiring! So that's what I'd use the shoes for - to keep pushing myself in my (not very speedy) speed sessions!

You shouldn't be doing any speed work at all. Take 6 months to build up your cardiac base with a mix of easy and long runs. Otherwise all you're doing is jumping ahead without a solid foundation, which risks injury and actually slows progression long term.

I loved listening to the running channel on my training for the MK half and ended up running a pb in 1.47.11. Having only run for other sports I took up running in lock down and now aged 54 I have run 2 marathons then 2 half marathons. Next target is the 10 miler at the Yorkshire Marathon weekend in October on my birthday where I will be joined by my 2 daughters. After encouraging the girls we are all running park runs on a weekly basis and training for other races.
Hearing the tales of Jess’s 10k, Andy’s first marathon at Valencia, Rick’s return to running after his knee operation and Sarah’s London marathon have been inspiring and help me to pound those training miles (although I like to work in kms).

Well done Jess! Such a inspiring video and a huge PB after all that hard work. I would use the UA infinite elites for my long runs if I won them! Training to get better PBs at both 10k and 1/2 marathon.

Well done Jess, that's an amazing time! I hope I'll come close to running that one day. I'm planning to run my first ever half marathon next month, so having better shoes would be awesome. Really loving the content!

Well done Jess. Amazing how you can still speak when running that fast. Last Saturday I ran 10k and was goosed from 3k in, and week tomorrow I have Stornoway Half Marathon which I haven't done this distance since 2012!!! So inspiring watching these kind of videos. Thank you for sharing and inspiring others to keep running.

Recently ran my first sub-20 5k at 19:52, so i think i could get my 10k down to 41:xx for now, dreaming of sub-40 some time.

I would use the shoe to get back to the rhythm of running again, starting with 10k. I have picked up the training intensity again. After battleing with TBE and the aftermath with that for a year, and of course that happened when I was in my best running shape of my life, I'm finally glad to be out running again.

I was running a Time Trial yesterday. I was suffering, just wanted to stop, then I thought, this is the pain that elites go through when they're in the final few kms of a race. And that thought kept me going.

That time seems so unfathomable to someone like me: untrained, gained 15kg during the pandemic and only recently picked up running at the beginning of the year (and promptly hurt my knee...). I'd use those shoes to run my first ever race this July (also a 10k, but nowhere near your pace).
