I thought it was one of the new TC Electronic pedals at first when I saw the thumbnail, but this is one hell of a trem pedal. Usually I'm not too hot for tremolo myself even though I love the effect itself, I can totally see myself putting this beauty to use. Want!
It seems everyone demos trem pedals on their most extreme depth and speeds to sound like a 50s/60s surf movie. That’s a very niche use and doesn’t sell to most people who would like the more subtle movement that these can provide.
Is it just me, or does this trem sound really unique to others? I thought the trem on their amps sounded different too. Perhaps not as intense as the trem on vintage Fender amps.
This is a late answer here, but it has to do with the circuit order. On Supro amps, the trem comes after the reverb, so it effects the verbal while on fenders, it's the opposite. Hope that makes sense. A lot of reverend Horton heat stuff (especially live) does the Supro thing with trem after verb. It's a very unique sound.
As for this pedal, it has a pretty unique circuit compared to traditional trem effects. Gives it a vibe effect, which actually used to be the term for tremolo until the univibe and jimi changed all that
Felix Blacksher On the tweed amps and the 60s/70s Vibro Champ the tremolo occurs in the power amp stage; unlike most Blackface designs, which create the tremolo effect before the reverb effect.
I've a Diaz Tremodilla that's really cool but when maxed only gives the modulated signal which is good but nice to have a touch of sig from time to time Hmmm wonder what two trees at the same time sound like Great demo
Impressively nasty, almost to the point, fully saturated, of losing cohesion. Also nice that it's a crossover to phase and vibe, I think much territory waiting to be explored.Always been happily surprised that such innately primitive effects are still widely employed and accepted.Gives me hope .
I'd love to play Led Zeppelin = "No Quarter" on guitar with this pedal. It sounds great. ( but, then-again ) Andy can make . . . a box-of-rocks, - sound great. He is such a good player. So versatile. I really enjoy just watching & listening to him, demo the products.
@@ProGuitarShopDemos Man!!! Andy you are a talented beast! Any way pay you to learn the arrangement? Ive have written to it and I would love make it an actual song!
Jake Quincey I prefer to put it in front of a mildly breaking up amp. The gain in this pedal can be a bit harsh. And the eq and tube saturation of an amp can really smooth out the harshness. When in the loop just use less gain.
When I click this thing on during a gig, everyone perks up. The harmonic trem is unbeatable. The speed control on the fly is instant psychedelia.
I'm surprised this is the first time I've heard "7 and 7 Is" in a tremolo demo. I figured it would be a tremolo demo staple.
Love! Such an underrated band. Well done, Andy. Oh, and the pedal sounds rad.
One of my fave pedals I own. I use it more often as preamp to get some Supro amp tones. The tremolo is rich and thick.
I used to have a ’62 Bandmaster and this pedal comes REAL close to matching the killer harmonic trem on that amp. Wow.

The first song is Love - Seven and Seven Is
What a band
we're all normal and we want our freedom
(free-dum)
'7 And 7 Is?' Jeez... Andy knows the coolest tunes!
@ 5:02 don't recall seeing a pedal make Andy smile like that before .... Great tone!
Check out the demo for Keeley Holy Fuzz. Andy shows much joy!
That tone put old Andy in the zone for sure!
Perfect choice of pedal and guitar, way to transform a cool 60s tune into modern greatness.

The depth is never maxed in this demo, thanks.
@@ProGuitarShopDemos way to max out the depth, andy. you depth maxer.
Andy was having a blast with the first song
No volume drop.thats golden!
Thanksssss!
That bassline is epic
That thing sounds wild!!
This thing sounds better than my Saturn while nailing the characteristics of its tremolo.

4:57 nice and heavy sounding.
Supro tremolo feels rich, warm , far , fat , juices, waters , that we need ....
Man, I could have hours of fun with that thing.
We need a second video with some fuzzed out tone.
I've a Diaz Tremodilla that's really cool but when maxed only gives the modulated signal which is good but nice to have a touch of sig from time to time Hmmm wonder what two trees at the same time sound like Great demo
OMG. I'm in tremolo love.
I think you meant tremo-love. I mean it was right there.

Need PGS to reopen their downtown PDX store.
the last thing I need is another term, but this one sounds really good...
7 and 7 is....Nice.
Pedals have power amps? Who knew.
LOVE!!
I wish you could control depth with an expression pedal
Supro pedals sound great, but not *$230* great.
Hank Hill But it's the Vogner Char King of tremolos.
Agreed. $230 is above my price point for new.
I tell you hwhat...
what pedal was used on your intro song Hank? Also do you still sell propane and propane accessories?
On the other hand, analog harmonic tremolos are really hard to find...
The color reminds me of malekko's tremolo with an internal gain pot.
Harmomic Tremolo (sic)
@Proguitarshopdemos Hey what song is Andy playing at 2:49? It is beautiful! I would love to learn
Just a "mysterious" chord progression I put together, thanks!
Andy
@@ProGuitarShopDemos Man!!! Andy you are a talented beast! Any way pay you to learn the arrangement? Ive have written to it and I would love make it an actual song!
I'm pretty sure Operative: No one lives forever-theme has same chords or atleast something similar
my Bibles in the fire and my dog lies hypnotized
Anyone know what guitar Andy's playing in the intro?
One of the Reverend Guitar models, don't know the name
Reverend Club King 290
www.reverendguitars.com/instrument/club-king-290/
Anyone knows the second track ?
Sounds excellent, but that price tag...Flint adds the stellar verbs for $70 more.
sixbladeknife44 The Supro trem has a nicer depth and feel to it though. (I use both)
I think the unique thing with the Supro is the preamp + Xformer saturation
Oh fuck yeah! I love Love!
I like the sound but the source audio vertigo seems way better value for money.
Love's 'Hey joe'. Classic.
Seven and Seven Is
Can you use a tap tempo in the expression?
No, this pedal is all analog.
do you put this in the effects loop or in front of the amp?
Jake Quincey I prefer to put it in front of a mildly breaking up amp. The gain in this pedal can be a bit harsh. And the eq and tube saturation of an amp can really smooth out the harshness. When in the loop just use less gain.
Which guitar is that???
🔥🔥👏👏
tone ,,, seems skewed
All I really want to hear is one chord on each setting. You could save yourself and everyone else a huge amount of time by doing this.
