Mosaic Backing Sheets support individual sheets to keep the individual tiles in place. The benefit of a Non Sag Thinset like ProLite, is preventing the weight of the entire moasic sheet from sagging, or scrunching up where the spacers would go👍
I used Megalite once for a small repair. It costs more than Prolite, because it has a Crack Isolation Membrane within it. So if you wanted to knock out crack prevention and premium bond strength Megalite would work well. I guess it depends on your needs👌
@@BonBon770 Absolutely, if you do it right, by not making it too wet, using the right size trowel, and tamping the sheets in. I literally did not use 1 spacer in this entire 45 sqft Backsplash 👌
Looks like some really nice mosaics. You Should do another one with cheaper mosaics and see if you still wouldn't need to use spacers
Already did😁 it should be posted this weekend👍 It works great for anything sheet mounted👌
Our you could use mosaic backing sheets

Have you ever used custom megalite? I've used prolite and liked it a lot wondering if I should try megalite

A non-sag thinset plus spacers is actually a little bit better
Kinda defeats the purpose of non sag thinset🤷♂️🤷♂️
@@HowToTileLikeaPro you trust that it stays put? Really?

How you do the corners tho😮
Just account for the thickness of the tile when marking, and use the cut off piece on the adjacent wall👌.
