- This was custom made, because this song wasn't actually on the album. So I added reverb, sound effects, delay, and compression on the original song to give it the Mark, Tom, and Travis Show vibe.
Even I read the description before, the intro and the tone still makes me think this is real live show. But when Tom start singing I realize it was edited studio version.
tom used to sound like on studio, but he damaged his vocal chords and he started to sing like you know
It was the rhythm guitar striking the chords underneath the intro that gave it away for me. They don't do that live, it's lead only.

It could be. He could separate the isolated to mono tracks (L and R) and choose the better for the contest and put it in the center/5% to R to bring the custom "position" trick.

On 'The Mark, Tom, and Travis Show' album they do, because of post production. I think this song would fit on the album perfectly.
Actually they used to be good live, back in the day. Toms voice was blown out I'm assuming in between 2002-5 because they stopped doing some of their older songs live. When they did they sounded like shit, I'll be honest I love the shitty sound. It sounds so raw and punk to me, but I do come back to this live show to pay homage to their original sound. It's truly awesome.

@@soarenn8163 i saw them in my home town with green day and some others (Big Day Out 2) around that 2002 time and they were surprisingly good. way better than a couple years ago when i saw them at the same venue with tom's replacement, it was really sad in comparison. Part of the blame is on the venue as they don't do more full day events like Big Day Out was (they put up a 2nd stage where Tool, 3 skinny jays and custom played between main stage performances) but honestly it was just how they sounded.
