To access the Sawmill in Flooded Foothills i always go through the west bridge, the same if you want to go to Concrete Plant, turn right after the bridge, dodge the mud through the trees, then climb it's quite safe, the rocky part is ok on the left when climbing, then another dodge the mud though the trees like in the video and that's it, did it with semi trailer and no chain tires.
Thanks! I didn't even hear about the Wisconsin shortcut. First time I played it, I thought "nah, screw it, I'm going to grab the Aramatsu from Maine". So I did, and that one was a godsend in Wisconsin with all those trenches. The Yukon one... I heard about it, but never saw it live, thanks for showing. Yesterday I climbed to that sawmill in two ways - took the Azov Atom through the mountain pass above the concrete plant, and then tested the Kenworth 963 for bruteforcing the rocky climb on the most obvious route. It was a hell😂 the truck absolutely refused to go uphill, but after wiggling around for like half an hour I managed to climb this rock, albeit without a trailer (had to return for it later and winch it uphill, which resulted in tipping it over).
Good knowledge to have whenever I go back to Yukon. Thanks. I just used the Tatarin to pull my trucks up that first rock route. Luckily, I managed to not lose any logs when I did that.
nice shortcuts, very helpfull I think you were right at the beginning, because shortcuts will mostly put you in trouble, we tend to avoid them unless the "normal" path is like hell
Great video again, I didn't know about the Black Badger Lake, I am going to Wisconsen next and will try it out. The Yukon one i knew about and I have used it in the past. I did the Yukon already in my current playthrough, and I chose the hardway and ripped the logs up the rocks with the 5600 TS. It didn't care lol
the 2nd route i thought about, but decided against when first playing the Flooded foothills simply as season 1 was fresh on my mind with all the super snow
must be working the same areas as me. Had less trouble going through there (the creekbed) than getting up to the gold mine crossing the map with the twin steer. Noticed even, though the load is much lower, concrete slabs were significantly more unstable than steel rolls.
That Yukon route you can cut in at the first stobie pole after the bridge and cut through solid ground to the brick framing (only really 1-2 trees to go through/ around) to start the journey up the hill, rather than taking that deep mud road around the side.
Never used the first one before never even considered that one I came up from the other one you mentioned and the one a bit more north that’s more of an actual road that one is pretty good but can be a challenge getting to it. I’ve also used the river and that’s pretty solid then it connects to the previously mentioned road just a little away from the delivery place. As for the Yukon one I went up it like 3 times and all 3 were different as you said that whole hill is fairly easy to drive up. Great video Nathan! Keep up the good work.
I’m gonna try and do these smaller segments that I cut from larger vods/streams. It’s just a good bit of work on the side coupled with the other videos like truck reviews and such
I always finding it weird that many deliveries places in Snowrunner have no real road of any sort to them like why did they build a Sawmill on top of a darn hill with no real road leading to it only a small river or out of nowhere tracks that can not be seen on the map, how it’s the sawmill still in business if it almost impossible for the thing you need to produce planks to get there, is this a normal thing in non EU country’s? Because here we build sawmills close to a asphalt road
That particular season has introduced crafting and limited cargo for the first time. So the devs placed the sawmill on the hill on purpose - to encourage you using all those wooden framings instead of going for unlimited wood. It worked fine, until they added logs in the next season... that's how this mission came to be. An absolute afterthought. No one intended that sawmill as a delivery location.

I just started Wisconsin, so this is very helpful. 49X is great. Keep demonstrating the awesomeness of lesser used trucks.
I lovin' these tips and tricks videos, buddy.

This is one of the many reasons Snowrunner is so much fun, there are so many ways to compete the missions.

Good route as well

Ah ya those are good routes too JJ! Thank you!
Im doing Wisconsin right now. I will try Your od District's shortcut :)
Nice thanks.
Hey man I’m a fan of these shorter vids, definitely more inclined to click

nice
How is the trench with an articulating vehicle like the CAT ?
With the CAT 745C the trench is pretty easy because well.. it’s the CAT right.

And I wonder, how does Bob get to work every day on these roads in his Hyundai?

@@vladvulcan okey that make sense but still imagine being a worker at that sawmill XD
