My 2 children are adult now early 20s. But I make a potato salad every Christmas Eve and dish it out to family members as we all
    Love home made potato salad.
Mash potatoes, Mayonnaise, onion , peas, carrots all mixed together and mashed up in a bowl it’s delicious served cold with Turkey. Merry Christmas 🤶 from the UK 🇬🇧 xx

Yummy! We love potato salad too!! I’ve never thought to eat it at Christmas though. Around here it seems to be more of a dinner dish. That just goes to show that we each have our own idea of what makes a special tradition! Merry Christmas! ❤️

I made a gingerbread house for my sister and her family one year and they were absolutely thrilled! She said they usually do that but ran out of time so the gift was very meaningful to them!

We read a nativity pop up book to our kids, and drive through a festival of lights.😊

My siblings and I used to make our own Advent calendars, with scenes from the Christmas story and Bible verses in each little window. Many hours went into those calendars!

We do several things on this list! We also have a few vintage holiday books that are the same ones my grandmother used to read to me. we We like to read them together, even as our kids are entering their teen years. I’m not a huge baker, but we make lots of no-bake holiday treats like popcorn with melted chocolate and crushed candy canes, reindeer food (Chex mix muddy buddies), and potato candy. And we make applesauce ornaments every year.

What a special blessing to have the same books passed down from generation to generation! So special! ❤️

It’s just me and the husband. I read him short stories from “Holidays on Ice” from David Sedaris. This tradition would be appropriate for teens on up.

I’ve never heard of that! I love that you read aloud with each other! I feel like it always seems like you are going on an adventure together when you read out loud! ❤️
