After 8 surgeries for rare avascular necrosis, I’m literally held together by plates, wires, & rods going down inside my leg and in a wheelchair. I’ve spent a yr afraid I’ll have an accident getting food leaning over the door to get food in and out of my range, & was considering a toaster oven for safety. Other videos told me nothing helpful, but then I found you & so far I’ve watched two of these and they’re SO helpful! Thank you for putting in all this time! I think I may end up with the oster French door & am going back to see if there’s an AMZ link to it. ❤

This was my first viewing of one of the appliance videos he makes, and he does a very good job. I wish someone were on the channel to answer questions ppl raise. Thank you for the thorough review! I was debating between getting the Cuisinart or the Emeril Lagasse Airfry 360. I prefer the quality of the Cuisinart but really wish they would have designed it so the bake pan could be placed under the lower burners and used as a drip pan. The crumb tray will be less important for my use purposes cooking meats and one of the cons I often read about the Cuisinart is how folks have been cooking meats and juices come flowing out of the front door, plus would seem like a PIA to clean the non removeable bottom tray. The Emeril Lagasse Airfry 360 has a drip pan under the bottom heat elements as well as includes a grill plate, so now leaning towards that model but couldn't have made that decision until seeing your greatly detailed review. Thank you!

Excellent video. I had the TOA-95 on order from Amazon today because it was 329 minus 82 off on sale. So 247 plus tax.
Cancelled that order based on your review. For $250 bucks approximately, I expect a toaster oven to perform better than this model Cuisinart.

Cuisinart is a very good appliance maker but there have been some complaints about the flimsy feeling dials on this model and over time the display cursor skipping around and being difficult to hit a setting. I decided to go with the Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro instead. It's a bit on the large size but it's been a solid performer.
How do you think this compares to the tob 260n1? You seemed very impressed with that oven from your precious videos. Is this one superior or too soon to know?

Is there a decent light when you open the door?
Do I have to unplug the unit after every use? That means the current clock has to be reset every time the machine is plugged in. Then unplugged when not in use. Help!!

I'm trying to get away from Teflon but it seems like the interior of this unit is Teflon. Can anyone else tell me if they noticed the same thing or if they think it's another type of material?
in the past you reviewed cuisinart Chef's Convection Toaster Oven TOB-260N1 and said it can function as an air fryer. How do you convert air fryer recipes for the TOB-260N1 or do you really need to purchase this model (or the smaller one) to get air fryer results?

While the Cuisinart has great function settings, the other two beat it on size. Waiting to see what difference in power of cooking, and cooking time is.
Edit: Finished watching the video and seriously need to see a video devoted to cooking/air frying etc. Cleaning in between heating elements on the top may be a problem as there were 4. I wondered if they pop out to facilitate that. I assume (and hope) Cuisinart offers paper to help with the basket sticking when making something such as a fillet of fish or certain vegetables, such as potato chunks. I actually wonder how the cooking experience is on the Oster. I like the larger oven space bc most of my pans and dishes were made for my conventional oven. I am looking for a good air fryer especially for hotter months so I'm not heating up the kitchen so much. The chicken tenders do better on the stovetop, clearly. So I wonder how a crumb-coated tender fairs. After all that's what airfrying is for. Beautiful foods we would typically cook in oil.
Looking for other tests on other ovens. Tho I do like the lower price on this Large Capacity machine.

Toaster Ovens are defiantly useful. Problem I have, is the reliability & Quality. Most die within a Two Year Window, or sooner. Some Models are well over a couple Hundred Dollars. For what the Customer pays. The Manufacturers, need to start putting out better products. Not just products that have an expensive price Tag.
Been using them a long time and know that's not the norm at all.
@@WaveOvenRecipes I've been looking at a lot of reviews. They say otherwise. Some Top rated. Especially Models with more electronic Controls.
Been seeing such too, and it is always a *minority* . Name the product, I see reviews of it failing. And like any product some are better than others. But overall, they work, for many years when properly used. I have reviewed over 50, maybe 1 broke, literally about 1. And, I use the same at times for years. Used the NuWave Oven over 4 years straight, literally every day, for every meal. And it was still working when I decided to move on.
@@WaveOvenRecipes One top rated is the Breville Smart, circuit board failures and no heat. Oster toaster Ovens mode switch issues, Kitchen Aid no heat, Black & Decker no mode or power. I can confirm the Black & Decker CTO6335S that was my Model that failed less than 1 1/2 old.
And many use them without issues. Your experience is not representative of all. But, maybe you should invest in a better quality model. I have reviewed B&D and gave my take and compared it with others.
