Your smile at the end is so genuine. :)
This is brilliant - a perfect demonstration of how coherent explanations can be produced by using real live examples 👻
Thank you!
The difference is explained in plain English. An enjoyable blog to watch, and I love the light-hearted entertainment as it makes it a lot easier to remember (Dave to/with George Clooney :-). Great sense of humour.
Thanks, Faran! I'm trying to persuade Dave to make comic appearances in more videos. What do you think?
Give Dave an Oscar!!! 😂Great, informative video as always. I don't think I'll forget the difference now thanks to Dave/George!😆
helpful video! dave should make more appearances, you guys make a lovely couple
As per usual and like your courses, wonderful explaining. Loved the beowulf accent reminds me of Welsh?
Thank you ma'am
Great lesson. Beautiful couple
You are awesome
Excellent indeed!
Thank you!
A great chemistry lesson.
Is the use of "compared to/with" together with comparative adjective (smaller, higher, larger, etc.) wrong/not recommended?
For instance, how wrong are the following sentences?
1) On average, men are taller compared to/with women.
2) Participants' anxiety was higher during the first exam compared to the second exam.
3) Compared to male participants, female participants’ general anxiety was significantly higher.
4) Compared to male participants, female participants exhibited significantly higher general anxiety.

💙👍
Great explanation! But there is still room for confusion: "Today, 60% of students are working in full force, comparing with 30% in April" or it should be "compared with" and please explain why? By the way, previously, before the video, there was "to" in that sentence. Thank you!
I would say "compared with" in your example, because you are emphasising the difference in numbers.
What's beowulf English literature, what was the meaning of that strange English phrase?
"Beowulf" is a heroic poem composed during the Anglo-Saxon period in England (from the end of the Roman era to the Norman conquest, about 450-1066).
@@DrClareLynch thanks Dr lynch for your response, say hi to David 👍😉
