i used to get it from the shop' and chew on it but since then i found out you can grow it in melbourne suburbs along with other tropical fruits i may not have a lot of room but i shall try🤙🌴(terry)
I can testify that it does make your teeth strong, I have had two dentist here in Australia and back in Jamaica say my teeth are strong and very hard to extract. that's because i eat this stuff so often its crazy :)

I'm growing the dark purple variety here in Hawaii. Its referred to as a chewing cane from farmers in the south US.
