    Very good video, Warner mention his first walkers were by Finley River Chief. Chief was owned by a man named John Monroe in, I believe, Glenwood Missouri if my memory is correct. John owned a pile of good dogs in his day, Hickory Nut Harry was another. I lived a little over an hour from him as a kid and used to buy some dogs from him and also hunt some for him. Really neat to see those old dogs doing something other than competition coon hunting.

      Randy Cooper's (Treed guide service) best bear dog was Rock, he was Hickory Nut Harry bred.

      @@InterviewsStoriesandTales that’s ok, still love the videos, it’s great to see someone keeping these ole legends in hound hunting relevant. The houndsman in the United States is going extinct

    What was the biggest baddest male Lion you've dealt with? How heavy was he? I've heard they can get pretty heavy in Arizona, upwards of 200lbs. You think a small pack of 3 dogs could ever take an adult tom alone? I personally don't think it's possible.

    Do you have any stories of losing a dog to a wolverine or big cat !?? As a mule man for years I wonder if you had a caged lion and let it slap the mule , would a mule learn to hate and track lions ? They are natural quardians of their buds ?!

    • @InterviewsStoriesandTales
      @InterviewsStoriesandTales  3 роки тому +1

      Never encountered wolverines where we are .. On my other channel Lion in the Rocks my Booger dog almost got slapped by a lion .. more hounds are killed falling off of bluffs then just about anything .. mules will sure protect their self and the herd but pretty sure they won't track or trail .. but they will let you know if there is a bear in canyon or at least my Jet mule will

    So everybody featured in these videos is a Legend? Are you sure they are not just dedicated sportsmen? Christ the clickbait is so ridiculous.
    All interesting people but worldly legends being lost to antiquity they are not. Preserving history is a wonderful thing but ingratiating nostalgia and dramatically sensationalizing individuals is something different. They are hunters of lions, no different than cavemen and current African tribesmen. In the analogs of history not unique just a means for you to capitalize off a product you have no investment in.
