I took B&B I and II classes at SIG Academy with Kerry - awesome 5 days of training, starting with basics and all the way up to the force-on-force at the container village. Kerry is a great teacher and very knowledgeable. Some time later, I bought the ankle kit and I've been wearing it every since. I highly recommend their training and their gear.
I just took Dart1 with Kerry. I wish Kerry was able to do this video because he’s so enthusiastic and a likable person who is knowledgeable and passionate about stopping the bleed. I bought his kit after the class. I love Dark Angel will always support them and spread the word. They are an amazing company and as long as Kerry is around they will be
I do have the ankle kit which I started using while doing church security. I did have to wear looser pant legs to help with concealment though, but still felt prepared for anything major. Good review on what else they offer.
I'm still a massive fan of the voodoo tactical's tourniquet pouch it fits a cat or a sof T and it has a slot for trauma scissors on the back. I mostly like them for the build quality there made to be drug thru the bush and still hold up .the idea of making needed material quickly accessible is going to keep me up redoing my EMS bags to get it right .
Hi. I have been an EMT since August 2022 with an IFT / 911 company in Los Angeles. When I have sufficient experience I am looking to enter paramedic school. I served as a police explorer for two years. I am also interested in being a reserve sheriff, but first EMT experience and then paramedic school. I am looking to enroll at UCLA and begin in May 2023. Any tips on how I can continue to self improve? Thank you for composing these videos!
Would have preferred if you had presented the video, this guy sounds so dreary and unenthusiastic and also seems like he was just making it up as he went along
Yes I agree with you 100%. He talks in a monotone voice I am never excited about a trauma kit, I am not excited about doing this video and selling products blah blah blah.
@@thestevecbr yea I'm aware of that, I am just like that my self which is why I let people who are good at it do it instead. I'm sure this guy is a great business owner
jw if you could explain the connection with tourniquet band width & occlusion. while at the same time direct pressure from a hand spreads out the surface area making the pressure not as effective. Videos of people saying that the Same amount of pressure from a hand isn’t as effective as that same pressure with a finger. Which makes sense to me but then the wider the band on a tourniquet the easier it is to stop bleeding. Wouldn’t a wider tourniquet spread that force out more & therefore need more pressure and might even hurt more? Thanks for all the videos really appreciate all the info over the years!
They are both entry level positions. Unless you want to go nursing I don’t see any reason to get your CNA, the skill set and medical education is minimal.
Yeah Sam... I agree, you'd be a much better presenter. For all of the extra costs associated with buying Dark Star gear, you'd think they'd be able to afford to hire a decent brand ambassador. The guy is probably a nice dude but he presents these products like Uncle Fester.
Hey man. I’m a medic at FT Carson CO and have serious interest with swat medic career path when I get out. Is there anyway I can get some more information on how to apply and what certs I need?

I've got Dart I and II and run nothing but D.A.M. gear. Who is this stiff? Take off your glasses FFS dude.
Where is Kerry Davis at

Dark Angel is top of the list for me
Dark Angel makes really nice gear! Their ankle kit is one of the best on the market, when you can find it.

Hey Sam. Would love to see an updated review of the new SOF Tourniquet. Do you think the improvements are really worthwhile?

I didn’t mind the guy. Just a different personality.
not all people are extroverts on camera. he is camera shy…

I enjoy hearing the company guy talking with her m but I'd like a video with us personal options on the kits
I need to look into that pocket carry pack. I wear shorts a lot. Ankle doesn’t work, but I often have an empty cargo pocket.

What was that can ??????
Hi Sam..
Do you have tourniquet video demo with tissue?
Which kit would you recommend for a civilian to take to a gun range? Novice level knowledge
Do you have online store ?
How can I purchase that stuff?
Um, your thoughts on someone becoming a CNA before becoming an EMT? Just wondering. Love from Marysville, California

Do you guys ship internationally?

He has done a video that should be able to answer your question. I think it's a year or two old. Hope that helps
Hello. What is your opinion of the rhino rescue tourniquet and there other stuffs?? Is it good quality??
Very sketchy company. Do not recommend. They also have no connection with any anti poaching org as far as I know.
@@tzubenson7180 thank you for the information. :)
@@tzubenson7180 what does the anti poaching organization affiliation have anything to do with it?

Thank you for sharing this.
Do they sell the ankle "pouch" separately?
Yes, if you go to website, you should be able to find the ankle kit and it should ask of you want it stocked or not
Super stiff presentation, really isn't going to help them move anything.
I thought Jeb Bush was low energy. That was painful, next time have a cup of coffee ☕🌞
Am I the only one getting a "Weekend at Bernie's" vibe off this video?
Get some.
