this album is just so vulnerable. what i admire about her music is that your not just listening to a song, she literally makes you feel the exact emotion she’s trying to make you feel. its almost out of body the way this album just wraps you in its essence
cellophane getting the highest ranking, that's so fitting.. the whole song is a religious experience, even more so with the music video 😩 can't wait for caprisongs
This and Norman Fucking Rockwell by Lana are the 2 albums by female artists that gained the highest critical acclaims of that year. Lana and twigs literally came & conquered. My favs are: Fallen Alien, title track, Sad Day, Daybed, Mirrored Heart & Cellophane, but honestly the whole album is gorgeous, i jsut can't pick.
AGREED! The inability for the commercial viewers to make her mainstream makes me madddd! Just because she pushes herself artistically and doesnt fit the mold !
Omg yessssss Magdalene is so good. This is def her magnus opus for me personally. I think you should check out Fiona Apple sooner or later she's a really interesting artist to listen to.
This is actually one of my all time favorite albums. It just came at the right time for me. I remember listening to this through quarantine combined with miss Anthropocene both on repeat. while high it was a religious experience.
Literally same. Was in my final semester in college and would commute to school early at 5/6am to study. Walking on campus early morning with this album and miss anthropocene literally carried me
Wow, this project blew my mind! She is incredibly talented, and I am sooo happy we got this album! The title track was my favorite, but I loved EVERY SINGLE TRACK! The production was crazy cool and fun but also melancholic and beautiful too. Her voice is otherworldly, its too gorgeous that she doesn't sound human at times, it sounds like something from the aether....a spiritual experience in the house of Twigs
Just watched and I’d just like to say, if you haven’t seen them yet I’d recommend reacting to all the Fka Music Vids because they’re top notch and quite literally some of the best every made. Especially in the Magdalene and Melissa eras, (oh and two weeks)
@@meyechelangelo I’m good (ish) now haha got super stressed from work and it spiraled from there😣 I came back and was like ooooh a lot of uploads ☺️ it was probably the happiest I felt in a while, so thank you ❤️❤️❤️
This album is insanely good, her best work imo. Glad to see she finally got a 10 😌 I was wondering if LP1 grew on you or if it still didn't quite hit the mark? Also, I really recommend you listen to an artist called Sevdaliza, I think you'll really enjoy her music! She's incredible, really unique and has such a clear vision for her music. Lots of ambiance in her songs with a dark tone which you seem to enjoy. Apple Music has her as electronic, I've also seen people call her trip hop, alternative R&B, and experimental/avant pop.

I sleep on this Masterpiece For a long time, Twigs is SO underrated idk why she's not popular

Omg, I'm so happy you loved this as much as you did! Cellophane is definitely a masterpiece - it's my second favourite song of hers, after Pendulum.
