    Hi, my brother have issue with his car 12v battery do dring out and the car is not starting. Is there problem with DC/DC converter or the 48v battery that has issues? Any sujestion.

      We are a independent specialist, all our tools and software are bought directly through Daimler. It's a process to get authorised by Daimler to be able to program security related modules.

    Can you tell me the cost of this kind of replacement since this will happen to all of these hybrids in the future. So labor + battery.

      The total diagnostic charge was €240 (€120/hour) including tax. That includes the price for using genuine software and diagrams. The replacement of the battery €180 including tax, we charge €90/hour for mechanical labour. The battery was supplied by the customer which we usually don’t do but it was on backorder from our dealership and the customer could arrange a new battery.

    what was the issue with the 48 volt battery i took my car to the dealer benz place cls 450 and they said first it was the pryo fuse they replace it then they said the 48 battery volt not communitatin to the starter to start it been

      @@terrynaylor767 Hi Terry, that was also the problem with this Mercedes. The pyrefuse was activated because of a minor collision. The battery itself was still full on charge but the module inside the same battery failed to communicate. The only solution is to replace the battery. 4000 looks expensive for only the battery replacement but if that includes the diagnostic charge and replacement of the pyrefuse it would make more sense if they charge that amount.

      @@ajaysheombar6535 so it was the 48 bolt battery so you replace the 48 volt casue it been in a small accident its only 4 years old how can it neeed a new 48 vold with only 13,000 miles on it it was under carrige the resit the accident start it still wont crank or just a clickin norse
