Thank you so much for explanation. I'm from Czech Republic and you explained that better than my teacher in school. Very good english and explanation. I've got one question, is that mild hybrid in BMWs helping to car cruising when is engine off. If yes how? Is it spinning the wheels? Or it's just powering steering and breaking? Thank you and have a lovely time 🙏
English is good, my friend. I hope you will make more videos about this system. How to maintain, charge, if the car isn't driven often, what needs to do to keep this battery in good standing.
Thank you so much for explaining it's so clear but i have a small question what happens to the car if you lose your 48v or generator or if you cut the high voltage circuit ? Does your car lose power or have problem starting ? Or stall ? Thank you in advance for your feedback
I loved your video! The way that you explained in English and put each point across shows Knowledge and talent, well done. Have you been confronted with the 48V battery in the 2020ish Mercedes E53 AMG and its issues, I know Audi is suffering with its 48V battery also. With regards to the E53 issues do you have any advice based upon directly diagnosing whether or not it is infact the battery or the DC to DC converter software/hardware? Well done again!
Hello! Thanks for your comments. We know that MB 48v have problems but I do not know what is exactly the problem. I would say that it is a failure in bms. Best regards.
Hi, great presentation. I have a question thought. I own a Hyundai Tucscon NX4 mild hybrid with 48V battery. Since 3 months old, when sits in the garage for 2 and more days, start/stop system doesent work, that tels me that somehow is depleted. What I start to use it a lot, go for a trip 200+ km it starts to work after I restart the car. I noticed that when that is the situation, the 48V system doesn't seem to provide energy to the engine. What it is working, the engine turn of itslef under reduced power requirements conditions and goes into ceiling mode. That' is not happening until I drive for several miles to charge the batteries. I pointed out the problem, and they cannot understand it. Everything works Normal according to them. From my understanding, either 12V battery that assists the Start/Stop Sytems and other systems cannot hold its capacity and needs to recharge first, so that 48V system can unleash its potential, or alternator is not able to charge the battery enough.... or DC/DC converter is working properly. What does this description tell you?
Hello, I consider that your 48v battery is discharge. However, it is necessary to connect the scan tool to read real values and make a diagnostic. Best regards.

hello, I have a problem, I myself am an auto electrician, an Audi A8 with a mild hybrid came to me, this car lost charging before me, another auto electrician said I need to replace the starter, generator after replacement the problem did not go away and there was a coding error, the question is how to program it and gives Is it charging at idle. There is also an error on the battery at 48 volts, low voltage please help
Seems to me your 48V battery is locked down because of deep discharge. It is the problem of such batteries. As soon as the battery is deeply discharged, its controller gives the signal to lock the battery. The only one way to make the battery alive is to reprogram its controller or change the battery. A bunch of money..

Can I charge the 48v battery of my hybrid volvo with a 48v battery charger?
¿Se puede adaptar este sistema a un auto convencional para bajar los consumos en el arranque? ¿cuánto cuesta un sistema así? gracias!
No tendría sentido
That’s what I assumed also, I believe that the BMS has a lock out circuit that is too send sensitive.

The battery is supposed to last 10 years, but unfortunately premature failures have been an issue.
