I think you’re downplaying Sasori. Chiyo and Sakura had an antidote to his poison as well as chiyo already being a decent matchup for Sasori, since she knows so much about him. You’d have to imagine anyone else would struggle in a fight with him
He also has to fight and capture jinchuriku on the daily

I agree gaara is the strongest kazekage i think alot of statements need context tho. Sasori "lost" to granny chiyo and Sakura. First Chiyo had inside information on sasori and knew alot of his techniques, Sakura creating the antidote help immensely in the fight and the only way she was about to create is was because kankuro got poisoned. If kankuro doesn't get poisoned there's no way she creates the antidote for the posion. Plus the chiyo explains sasori let them win too. Next, sasori beat the 3rd kazekage. Sasori is a known poison specialist it's not hard to believe he could poison and kill someone stronger then him. For example naruto was poisoned by a little cut from the poison kunai sasuke took from Sakura at the 5 kage summit. Sasori poison would be way stronger then that one.

He hasn't shown anything yet to our current knowledge. Only stated it's a new Wisdom of Age. My guess is since he can no longer enter SOSPM (At least to us) he knows something new about Sage Mode from his time in SOSPM.

Just speaks to how astronomically powerful jigen/isshiki was lol Dude was an absolute menace. And that was without a perfect body/vessel or going into a fusion state like Momoshiki or Urashiki did. Isshiki probably could have simply eaten his own eye and achieved another tier of physicality.

I'd say Mu over Onoki all day. Dude can literally turn invisible and untracible. Could split himself and could make a more potent shadow clone and save himself from lethal damage. Dude is a swordsman. Dude seems to also be dumb nasty with dust release. He can also fly and basically do everything Onoki can do.

Agreed. When he first appeared A , Tsunade, Shikaku, and Onoki explained how dangerous he is. He was the last man standing after all the other revived kage were sealed. And he was only permanently defeated after Itachi released the edo tensei.
Mu stomps Onoki and honestly I can see Mu killing characters like Madara through stealth. Like flight means no sound, then he has a literal perfect invisibility which doesn't even leave traces of chakra behind, and then particle style negates durability. Like how did he AND Onoki together lose to Madara?
To be fair, we only see Onoki as an ancient old man, who can barely move without hurting himself lmao

@@Ploctor As an old man he is actually considered a lot more peak than his younger self although maybe a tiny bit younger could be his true prime. We see him with Mu when they're way younger try to 2v1 Madara and its Heavily implied Mu is still far superior here and then when you look at his Edo form still performing just as good as a non Edo Onoki plus he didn't have his swords or Shinobi gear. It's basically a non discussion at this point that Mu is objectively stronger than Onoki.
Onoki was an old man not prime and he proved himself stronger in the war arc. Mu has more versatility however he is at his prime ability when revived. Onoki is stronger tho. My man lifted two meteors. There isn’t a greater feat of strength in the story I don’t think.
people forget that a large part of the series is about the element of surprise, if you can hit your opponent with something they don't expect you can easily defeat them. The Third Hokage is considered the best kage because of his vast knowledge of so many jutsu, not just in the leaf village but across other lands. The Third Hokage like Sasori was defeated by someone who knew everything about him, and was at the disadvantage of being well past his prime

You're definitely under-estimating Sasori, he's able control a 100 puppets and some of his puppets are pretty OP. The only reason he lost to Sakura and granny chiyo was because of the antidote and THE FACT that he let himself get killed by the mother and father puppet to free himself from despair and loneliness.

with hiruzen i think there is some merit to it, he is said to have mastered every jutsu in the village except for dojutsu and wood release. he had access to every chakra nature, forbidden and hidden technique, he had more chakra than kakashi by a long shot too. I think that in his prime maybe he beats all but Naruto and maybe hashirama. including the gates might guy uses could defeat hashirama with the cost of his life, he had win conditions in spades.
N Hiruzen WAS the god of shinobi, but he doesn't stand a chance against current Naruto.

Keep in mind the 3rd Kazakage was still considered the strongest Kazakage ever even while Garaa was a Jinchuriki. Now it is possible that Garaa surpassed the 3rd there just isn't enough feats to show for the 3rd to compare.

I don't know about the manga but in the anime the 3rd Kazekage broke free of Edo Tensei and regained his free will when Orochimaru faced Sasori. That is quite a feat.
feats? feats? Gaara has the MOST feats of ANY Hidden sand shinobi. Gaara was a 13 year old, and he literally walked off a five gates forbidden lotus from Lee. and just a bit later he was able to creat massive sand tsunamis and even beat his dad. not to mention he has a decently high iq/battle iq and can also add things like gold dust to his sand to make it heavier/stronger to negate his weaknesses. then there's the taijutsu that was mentioned in the video. Gaara whoops the 3rd Kazekage any day of the weak.

Y'all are forgeting that sasori is arguably the greatest poison specialist in all of naruto. Let me run you through how a fight between sasori and the third kazekage would go. Sasori would have probably earlier poisoned the third Kazekage so as to weaken him during their fight and when they battle the third kazekage slams negative diff and as all sasori puppets have been rendered useless cos of the iron sand and the third kazekage is about to deliver the final blow. The posion takes effect and the third kazekage slums to the ground groaning in pain and then sasori kills him and takes his body.
Let's not forget that Gaara can also infuse gold into his sand. That's what stopped Gengetsu in the end by turning his boiling clone into a gold statue.
In Kiminaro fight, he infused ores and hard materials to boost his defense. It’s generally doesn’t matter much what kind of sand they use to be honest. In the sand village, Gaara can control enough sand that can cover the entire village and withstood a giant bomb detonated. If they are fighting a defensive battle at the village, Gaara will have massive advantage compare to other Kazekages.
Ok so Naruto knows flying raijin... He's lost some of his superspeed along with KCM2 so I hope either he starts using it or teaches it to someone else cause it's so damn cool. Boruto could use karma teleporting like minato used FTG, Himawari could combine it with gentle fist to be nearly undodgeable with an insta KO. Idk if a non Uzumaki should be using it from the current generation considering no one else has shown to have the required chakra reserves AND be a genius which is said to be required to use it effectively.

1. I think he meant like a full adult life… Mu lived into his 30ish, where as Yagura died before 20… so barely an adult.

I don't read the manga but that seems stupid for him to lose the other bijuu abilities and 6 paths just because he doesn't have kurama.

In gyokuros case she can read a person's energy and copy there aura to use any atk.

She a vamp can read and match the aura wavelength of any other type of creature from a snow woman to a kitsune and use there attacks.
In Naruto terminology that would mean she could copy any ninjutsu from any element and every kekkie genkai.
Because she'd be able to match the energy wavelength.
Not to mention she'd be able to littoral read ur mind.
In rosario vampire she was able to tell people didn't agree with her. There exact number of individuals in a crowd of hundreds all with energy flying everywhere.
Not to mention the ones that didn't agree had there energy suppressed.

Gaara can definitely surpass the third kazekage, the issue is the third hasn't shown much feat nor did the adult gaara who is training a kid who can control iron sand. Which i'm sure that gaara can also do, people tend to downplay him a lot. Its just we can't scale them easily since we don't know either of their feats completely. But i'm pretty sure adult gaara can control golden dust and iron sand.
Edit : I forgot he can use iron sand, i believe it was from the gaara shindden novel.

I'd say that the statements about Hiruzen being the most powerful Kage of his day is likely an accurate statement. The man was a high-level master of all Five Nature Transformations, which is impressive since he has no Doujutsu (or "eye technique" in English). He is also a master of Yin Release and Yang Release, and is one of the best Sealing specialists we have seen, as well as most of the Hidden Leaf Village's clan specific techniques like the Inuzuka clan's hound-like senses and animal communication, the Aburame clan's affinity for insects, the Yamanaka clan's Mind-Transfer Jutsu (and all its applications), and the Nara clan's Shadow Release. How? We don't know. But, just having that level of diversity in his arsenal is insane. There is also his summon, Monkey King Enma to think about, as that ape is no slouch as a summon (in my opinion he is one of the strongest). He also has hype and feats that put him above several Kage and even Hokage. For one, during the War Arc he practically waged a one-man offensive against Guruguru and his construct. Shikamaru even stated outright that if Hiruzen couldn't defeat the golem they were screwed. Hiruzen also beat Tobirama and Minato to the punch when the world tree attempted to take Naruto. The old man straight up out-sped the speed demons to free Naruto. Also, his performance against Orochimaru should not be held against him too much, as he was holding back because he had to fight his former student. He still loved Orochimaru, or regretted that he could not save him from himself . . . or some combination of the two. Either way, even Monkey King Enma notes that he isn't fighting at one-hundred percent against Orochimaru, who is one of the strongest shinobi of the era. If you were to include him in an Akatsuki ranking, I would honestly put Orochimaru at around the number four spot or so, because he is actually terrifying. As an aside, need I remind you that Lord Third was pretty much the only major force holding back the Nine Tailed Fox when Obito attacked the Leaf Village. Obito fought Minato (which is honestly a massive win for Obito because he was fucking thirteen), but it was Hiruzen who kept the Village safe from Kurama's wrath. But yeah, Hiruzen is actually really fucking busted, and I am so sad that we didn't get to see the old man kick more ass. What I'm saying is that if Hiruzen had been alive when Pain attacked, Konan could have come and fought with the Six Paths and the rest of the Village could have had a smoke break for all the difference it would have made. The old codger would have ripped the God of Destruction and his Angel new assholes in half the time it took Naruto to win by technicality.
To add onto that, I'll go ahead and post my ranking of the Hokage:
1. Naruto Uzumaki (for obvious reasons)
2. Hashirama Senju
3. Hiruzen Sarutobi
4. Minato Namikaze
5. Tobirama Senju
6. Tsunade Senju
7. Kakashi Hatake
I ranked Hiruzen as he is, because I think he is a better overall package than Minato, who's greatest and most standout attributes are his speed and Fuinjutsu. Minato is above Tobirama because I think Minato offers a higher threat level, and because he faced tougher opponents in his lifetime. I honestly go back and forth on Tsunade and Kakashi, but I think Kakashi as he was by the time he becomes Hokage is quite impressive. He is certainly Kage material. But, he just lacks the punch needed to put Tsunade down. She will not stop until she dies. It's a death-blow or nothing with her and Kakashi without his Sharingan has so far shown nothing resembling the magnitude necessary to put her in the ground. He is probably faster, but if just one punch lands on him he is out of the fight, if not at least momentarily incapacitated which would leave him open for more salvos from Tsunade. Also, she can just outlast him since his stamina (outside of the War Arc) is not the greatest. If he makes one mistake, he's a goner, but it goes both ways since he is a better overall fighter. And, as an ex-ANBU black ops operative, he can wage guerilla warfare or prey upon Tsunade's weaknesses using psychological warfare. That's part of why it's a toss-up for me. As for Naruto and Hashirama's placements . . . that much should be obvious. They are just that strong.

@@TheAceuu Honestly, it's because Hiruzen has more tools in his shed (Minato has variants on the Rasengan as well as some high-tier sealing jutsu and barrier jutsu with Flying Thunder God techniques and that is it), he's got just as good of a head on his shoulders, he has a similar level of physical performance (with a speed feat that involves him beating Minato to the punch in their Reanimation states implying he is capable enough to at the very least keep up if they were alive), he's got more experience as a fighter, and he has shown himself to be a more complete package than Minato Namikaze has. Minato is great, but he has his limitations. Hiruzen does too, but his are less damning in my opinion. Hiruzen is one of the few people to have mastered all five Nature Transformations, Yin Release, Yang Release, barrier jutsu, sealing jutsu, the secret techniques of almost every clan in the Leaf Village (everyone who is not an Uchiha or a Hyuga), and more. I think the fact that Hiruzen made it to old age speaks volumes to his capabilities. Also, let's remember the fact that he was still considered to be the most powerful and astute of the Five Kage at the time of his death. That list includes: Gaara's father (Raja), Ay, Ohnoki, Yagura (the fucking Three Tails Jinchuriki), and Hiruzen himself. For comparison, Madara as an old man was similar in age to Hiruzen, but it took him actually trying to take out some Hidden Mist ANBU. Hiruzen at a similar age fought and defeated not one, not two, but three Kage level opponents while holding back. Yes, the Hashirama and Tobirama Reanimations were not up to their usual standard, but they were still on the level of Kage and Orochimaru was around Itachi and Kisame's level here. That ain't nothing to put down.

@@RengokuKyojiro-oq5ld That is true, however the thing with that is more that he ran because he feared retaliation from other members as well for his attempted purloining of Itachi's eyes. Orochimaru as he was before Hiruzen sealed his jutsu away was on par with (or even able to defeat) Kisame or Itachi on their own. The man is cracked when seriously assessed and compared to the verse as a whole. Let's not forget that this man had no jutsu, was in a failing body, and he still laid hands on Six Tails Naruto (the same Six Tails that nearly killed Jiraiya), summoned three Rashomon compared to Hashirama's five, and took the Six Tails roughly one mile away with his sword and ludicrous throat game (I'm just sayin' . . .). With his jutsu, he is a master of all Five Nature Transformations, Yin and Yang Release, Sealing Jutsu/Fuinjutsu, Taijutsu, Kenjutsu, and is an Imperfect Sage. I'd say he can defeat Kisame in a close match, and if he had the knowledge that the Totsuka Blade and the Yata Mirror were within Itachi's Susanoo, then he could beat Itachi. The moment that man so much as activates it he can just run away.

Sakura and Chiyo beat a suppressed Sasori. He wasn’t trying actively at a certain point. Not only that Sasori managed to defeat the Third Kazekage without his strongest puppet which was the Third Kazekage. He’s not weak at all. A is weaker than Ay. Ay was stronger than Killer Bee but A was only able to stalemate Gyuki. Jinchuuriki are stronger than their Bijuu would be without him.

@@Diamondkid19 Sasori washes Gaara at the beginning of the series, and even War Arc Gaara loses to Sasori for a myriad of reasons. The Third Kazekage manipulates Iron Sand, and was stated to be the strongest Kazekage in the databooks. Now Sasori beat the Third Kazekage so by extension Sasori > Third Kazekage > Rasa > Gaara. Rasa is still stronger than Gaara during the war arc. Rasa’s Gold Dust moved faster than Gaara’s Sand, and Gaara only beat Rasa because when Gaara attacked the other Edo Tensei, Rasa defended them leaving an opening allowing Gaara to seal him. Without exploiting this weakness Gaara couldn’t have won.

Ok I stopped you at around 7 minutes, but sasori was no weakling, he could level nations with his puppets and created a poison that only he knew the cure for. On top of that, he let Sakura and chiyo win? His puppet parents were rushing him and he just wanted a hug from them, honestly I feel like you discredited sasori and that kinda discredits the 3rd kazekage, but I don’t really disagree with gaara potentially being stronger than him

IMO the problem with Sasori is that he is not great in direct 1 v 1 combat, but very strong when fighting "unfair" He likely defeated the 2nd kazekage by backstabbing him with a poinson blade in a situation when nobody was near who could create an antidot for the poison. Which isn't so much related to powerlevels but rather to cleverness and using sneaky tactics.

I liek the video over all but whenever someone pulls out the "Sasori lost to Sakura and Chiyo" they always don't bring up that sakura and chiyo are both his direct counters and have a large amount of background information on him. Not to mention he let himself be killed at the end of the fight which if he hadn't he would have killed both Sakura and Chiyo and won.

I know this triggers many people, but the strongest Kage from each village is in fact all of the new gen 5 kage. The reason for this is that the new gen 4 kage were all assembled to fight Kinshiki and Momoshiki, Shikamaru then states that they were the strongest they had available in terms of combat power. Almost verbatum. And Sasuke had no disagreements to this statement and also consider Shikamaru's intelligence. This means that the New Gen Kage are all Otsutsuki tier. And this was then confirmed when they were able to fight Kinshiki and Momoshiki who are both high ranking. Otsutsuki tier is waayy above anything the previous gen Kage are capable of. These new gen kage are downplayed simply because they were underlings in Shippuden but they just can't wrap their heads around the fact that they grew beyond their predecessors.

i think that both gaara and kurosuchi are the strongest of their village: kurosuchi is able to damage and make kinshiki groan in pain while immobilizing him, kinshiki is either equal or stronger than kaguya, what we know by the novels is that sasuke could beat kaguya alone, than we have kinshiki fighting sasuke, wich didn't have a lot of chakra left but still it's impressing since he pushes sasuke to use amenotejikara to dodge his attack and is somewhat relative in speed and strenght to him, it's clear that kinshiki is weaker than sasuke but he is at least somewhat relative to kaguya, and kurosuchi can damage him and immobilize him with ease, this is just insane, onoki never pulled out a feat even relative to this neither mu; gaara is even more insane he is able to react to fused momoshiki and since both kinshiki and momoshiki are either relative or stronger than kaguya this means that this guy is a total beast, and gaara is here reacting to him, or fighting urashiki wich is described as "the strongest of his clan" (even tho boruto scaling is stupid) this can't be ignored so yeah gaara blocking and reacting an attack to a being possibly more than two times stronger than kaguya is insane so yeah i do think that these two are the strongest of their villages; darui and chojuro don't accomplish anything i mean darui attacked kinshiki who blocked his attack by his blind spot and chojuro used his strange spear jutsu that didn't even made kinshiki move or like say "this hurts" or even a groan nothing at all it's clear that currently he is the weakest kage so yeah this guys are pretty strong the things that they accomplished rival hashirama looking at the scaling i mean hashirama being massively weaker than juubito and naruto and sasuke being able to one shot the madara who fought guy, wich btw is massively stronger than juubito given the fact that alive sage mode rinnegan madara could have possibly beated juubito, so yeah all of this support this scaling

I have an argument to present you about a few things. Firstly the third Kazekage and Hiruzen's power. Hiruzen was stated to be the strongest hokage IN HIS PRIME this was later retconned when Kishimoto decided to make Hashriama much more powerful so Hashirama and Naruto are still obviously stronger than Hiruzen but Hiruzen before his prime was already stated to have more talent than Tobirama, he also trained under both Hashriama and Tobirama. He Trained the three legendary Sanin so their status is partially due to his training. He mastered every Jutsu in Konoha including sense of smell somehow. He Naturally mastered all 5 nature transformations AND has one of the most powerful summons in the series. As an old man he was stated to be the strongest of the current 5 kage STILL and as a reanimation he shows his insane skills and power even outspeeding Tobirama who was the fastest Shinobi of his time. When Tobirama died he passed the mantle on to Hiruzen no question therefore I believe only Hashirama and Naruto are stronger Hokage when talking about primes(not granting Minato KCM because he wasn't Hokage then). Hiruzen as an old man died to the single strongest sanin, the three sanin are relative to the five kage and Orochimaru is roughly half the overall sanin power and he barely beat Hiruzen. It was even stated if he was ten years younger he'd have beaten Orochimaru. I wouldn't be surprised if Prime Hiruzen was nearing EMS Madara levels of power.
The Third Kazekage is much harder to scale because he has almost no lore besides being stated to be the strongest Kazekage but I'm under the impression he was the strongest until Gaara. I believe the puppet is not as powerful as the actual human and is only a mimic of the power kind of like a reanimation(In the anime a reanimated Third and the puppet fight but the Third breaks out of the reanimation before the fight gets serious). Sasori is the one who beat him but we have no idea the exact circumstances of how it went down, Sasori had been stated to be able to take out an entire Nation with his puppets so clearly they're more powerful than they get credit for(I'd argue Sasori is easily above Deidara despite what's said) Deidara was taking out Gaara using scummy tactics so whos to say Sasori didn't use equally scummy tactics? Not to mention he used poison so a single hit is game over. Sakura specifically trained to dodge things with Tsunade and Lady Chiho knew Sasori and his fighting pattern well like she fought the boss fight a hundred times. It took both of them working together to dodge Sasori for the most part not to mention at the end he decided to die on his own he could've kept fighting and maybe killed them and at this point Sakura was getting to Basic Jonin levels of power while Naruto and Sasuke were at kage level.
The second thing is about Baryon Mode. You keep saying in your videos that it boils chakra but that's not the case as far as I know. Boil release is what boils your chakra to boost you power, Baryon mode takes Naruto's chakra and Kurama's chakra fuses them like nuclear fusion, this fusion creates a new energy that isn't even the same as chakra anymore. This energy drains the life force of the user and what the user hits. That's my understanding of Baryon Mode.

Monkey Staff Enma? it becomes a nigh-indestructible staff that can extend and toss mountain-sized creatures large distances, likely able to do that to a Susanoo as well. Or it can become a literal sentient intelligent Monkey who has exceptional taijutsu skills and could possibly know ninjutsu, heck it could be a sage monkey and know senjutsu but that's just speculation. He doesn't have endless numbers of summons but he has one very powerful summon.

If we're taking into account Boruto then un-ironically the 5 Boruto Kage are the 5 strongest Kage due to them being able to fight/scaling to Base Momoshiki and Kinshiki which are beyond Kaguya level threats 💀
And then if we're talking Naruto Era then there's like 2 or 3 choices for each village besides the leaf and sand

I always felt like Naruto's the strongest character mainly because of all the external powers granted to him. It seems a bit unfair to the other kages, how would he compare without those external and just his innate powers?
he still has basically endless chakra without external stuff and i mean i think its fair to allow him to keep sage mode as well thats a learnt ability in theory anyone could attempt to learn it obviously most would fail. but without kurama he would have been utilising default sage mode a heck of a lot more which would have probably massively enhanced his abilities.
i mean look at naruto vs pain naruto literally just mastered sage mode earlier that week then comes back and is a step above everyone else in the village in terms of power. i mean initially kurama's chakra had 0 part in narutos sage mode so i think its a great base starting point of his true power level now give him another what 15-20 years of training where he is primarily focused on sage mode and not KCM or all the other fancy shit i think he would sort of be extremely comparable to hashirama level of power tbh probably stronger as he seems to have more base chakra from what i can tell

He would most likely be much closer to Hashirama powerlevel wise because he stacked sage mode or even better sage of six paths ontop of his Kurama chakra mode. So loosing Kurama, especially since he relied on him that much, is just a big loss in power instead of sage mode being a replacement.
But I agree that he would've focused alot more on his senjutsu powers if he didn't have Kurama. I think he should've even while (still) having Kurama...
I would argue that kurama counts as a power he was born with since its put inside him literally an hour after his birth. Like the Uchiha were born with the ability to use a sharing an, Naruto was pretty much born with kuramas chakra

Even without the 9 tails naruto still has huge chakra reserves and sage mode which he obviously has improved on somewhat if he’s confident enough to fight Code. With that being said tho we haven’t really seen him do anything since losing Kurama.
Hashirama has pretty much the same if not higher levels of chakra reserves. Plus he can regenerate (his cells being the reason naruto can). He’s got the wood style and he’s comparable to tobirama with genjutsu.
I think we’d have to actually wait and see how naruto fights without Kurama before we could say.

sasori was a monster !! he had ninjas he had under control whenever he chose to , to gain information from villages, he was basically immortal , on top of basically having an army and the justu he used to make puppets , those puppets kept chakra and abilities from that body when made. if it wasn't for granny chio there would have been no way Sakura could have beat him. on top of granny admitting he could have dodged the attack but just end up giving up.

So I'll just be blunt, cause of the power cliffing toward the end of the series the current Kage in Boruto are the strongest Kage ever in their villages. It's pretty blatant. The prior Kage struggle to fight Edo Madara who is weaker than Prime EMS Madara by all accounts of the narrative and series understanding of edo tensei (Mu & Onoki are somewhat relative although I think Mu > Onoki maybe prime Onoki takes it. 3rd & 4th Raikage are honestly interchangeable with the 4th actually having slightly better feats. Gengetsu is equal to Mu and Gaara honestly by the end of the war just surpasses all the Kazekage anyway lol). Yet these 4 Kage could even take on beings that are either relative, equal or (at BARE MINIMUM together) blatantly stronger than Kaguya. There's no comparison in the power cliffing
So due to the power cliff, here's MY UPDATE RANKING OF ALL THE KAGE (we know of either by feats or lore) in Naruto/Boruto. Some will have multiple versions (Hiruzen, Onoki, Gaara) due to their long reigns:
1. Hokage Naruto
2. Kazekage Gaara (Adult)
3. Raikage Darui
4. Tsuchikage Kurotsuchi
5. Mizukage Chojuro
6. Hokage Kakashi (could arguably be as high as #2 or #3 but this is a safe spot. Him in Boruto era may be even stronger than during his Hokage days too)

9. Hokage "Prime" Hiruzen (highball. lowball is just above Tobirama)

As for all the Kage we don't know about. They are all for sure clearly below Hashirama.
1st & 2nd Kazekage are below the 3rd, who's stated as most powerful of the Kazekage at the start of Shippuden (given we know the 3rd was relative to Sasori and we know even the power cliff in Shippuden that Gaara surpassed the 3rd by the war or during the war arc)
1st & 3rd Mizukage are being Gengetsu & Yagura with Gengetsu being as strong as Mu and the strongest of the Mizukage (until Adult Chojuro)
I don't believe we ever got a statement on strongest Tsuchikage and it would make sense for the 1st Tsuchikage to use particle style & lava style along with other jutsu. Still, he'd of course be weaker than Hashirama & Hiruzen
With the Raikage, the 3rd is the greatest (although that doesn't mean the strongest) and to be honest I flip on whether the 4th > 3rd or 3rd > 4th. At best, 2nd relative to Tobirama since both didn't technically die to during the assassination attempt albeit they are caught off guard not necessarily in battle mode. The 1st would just be blatantly below Hashirama & Hiruzen
Current Kage and Kakashi have scaling that is above even war arc six paths and is more on Otsutsuki level even if none of them (except Naruto) can defeat an Otsutsuki in a 1v1 (Otsutsuki in particular talking about the pure bloods in Isshiki, Momoshiki, Kaguya and Kinshiki. Urashiki is trash we'll leave him out)
I know wha your saying should make sense but the problem with boruto and it’s trash power scaling is that in their attempt to make the newer Kage’s revelant (which they still aren’t relevant or useful on the level of the old kage’s), they had them fighting people that just don’t add up. For instance, the boruto kage aside form Naruto should have no business fighting momoshiki at all, someone who is stronger than nerfed edo madara. It only took awakened edo madara to fodderize all 5 previous kage - so how is that even A- low S rank ninja like Darui, could surpass both the THIRD & FOURTH raikages, to the point where he’s fighting people who are more powerful arguably than kaguya & kinshiki? None of the new kages besides Naruto have any actual reason to be on par besides the series NEEDING the kage to be somwhat relevant so as to not solely focus on the hidden leaf. Really waters down the power up’s and the lore of an anime when people have massive power spikes and has assed off screen/paper explanations for why that is.

I’d say darui is probably to best well defended case here. Since we do know he masters black lightning which is a sole jutsu of the third raikage, and seeing how the 3rd didn’t even choose his own son to pass it down to, I think darui is highly exceptional. Others like the new Mizukage are utterly disappointing im comparison with his predecessors but yet he fights aliens far above thier level? Weird .

Fighting otsutsuki easily puts them above all the past kage whether it makes sense or not it is what it is.

@@darthmikelis First (to get the dbz reference out the way) Gohan may not be the best example considering for starters he had grown up with age so even though he may be rusty, it still means that with just starting training again he should (and was) stronger than when he fought Cell. Plus, while the power creep in DBZ was a bit annoying for me in the Buu Saga, we don't really see this astronomical power creep until DBS but I would definitely argue that Boruto's power creep is better justified and explained
One can argue this is the same case as ninja who constantly train and after experiencing war should be stronger especially if they were still teens compared to their adult versions (this is in correlation to real life though).
As far as an in series explanation, all the 5 Kage are worthy of that title as they all showed very good and UNDERRATED (of course excluding Naruto) feats in the same war arc. I'll go through each Kage including Naruto
1. Darui was Kage level and easily deserves the title Raikage. He performed very well against Kinkaku & Ginkaku and while they didn't go all-out using kyuubi chakra (which is why I hate people downplaying Tobirama for dying to 2 pseudo-9 tail jinchurikis, which would be stronger than any of the v2 jinchuriki's KCM Naruto & Killer Bee were having a hard time dealing with in the war arc not too mention in their base forms, Ginkaku & Kinkaku would scale above any of those jinchuriki with a maybe exception to the 4th Mizukage
2. Kurotsuchi could perform relatively well in the war and was at least high jonin level even for pre-war arc power cliffing standards. Her rising to Kage is something I'm fine with considering she was a legit jonin
3. Chojuro is same as Kurotsuchi although him performing against Zetsu is an underrated feat in itself. As someone who's now mastered all swords too it makes sense that he's Kage level. He is noted as having high potential with using his blade
4. Naruto got MASSIVELY stronger. Even by the events of the Last just 2 years after, with the databook noting that him & Sasuke are relative in power. Sasuke around this time (in the other novels) is stated that he believes if another Otsutsuki level threat were to appear he could handle it on his own. While Toneri was believed to be this, we know it's in reality talking about those on Kaguya's level which Toneri isn't there quite but is still a bit stronger than 3-eyed Madara and Naruto in a weaker form one shot him
5. Gaara actually shows his improvement even after the war with magnet release and people forget but Gaara got gradually stronger
Once again the 3rd Raikage didn’t trip and stab himself. He stabbed himself because as you mentioned before as he was fighting the 8 Tails they both collapsed due to exhaustion and that’s when he stabbed himself. And he woke up with his hand in his chest. God man, for someone who says he’s an expert and knows more than anyone you sure make a lot of mistakes.

Hiruzen sarutobi was the strongest kage during his tenur of all the villages kage.
And it's a well known retcon that he was weaker than the first two.
Masashi even admitted that hashi wasn't gonna be so powerful. But he had to strengthen him because he made maddara more powerful than intended

Naruto has problems with it having a narrow focus.
The world is so big but feels so small. Cuase of how little time it spends in its world building and history. Couple that with to much focus on Uchiha. And ya.

Obvious Kishimoto did a complete retcon of the 3rd Hokage because he didn’t expect Naruto to progress the way it did with scale.
If you take random statements as truth, not only was Tobirama the fastest ninja in the era as per Madara and faster than any modern shinobi bar minato, he was also the strongest water style user. You’d think Tobirama throws Kunai then flying thunder god impales hirzuen for the easy win.

I would like to point out that all the boruto kage are stronger than any kage that cane before them. They are able to fight beings that should at the bare minimum be relative to kaguya. None of the naruto kage would be able to deal with something like this. From naruto hashirama would be the strongest kage ever obviously and he couldn't even deal with jubito. It should be pretty obvious that garra is the strongest sand, kuro is the strongest Stone kage, chojuro is the strongest, darui is the strongest, and naruto is well duh. I don't even know how it can be debated other wise when they keep up with otsutsuki level threats while all the others are like damn those tailed beast are the strongest things. Like it really doesn't seem debatable in the slightest.

All the current kage are stronger than their predecessors since they are all relevant against Otsutsuki level threats like Momoshiki which are relative to Kaguya. There is a huge power cliffing at the end of the series which is being ignored here. Edo Madara fondled 5 kage. Let's say that Mu and Gengetsu are slightly stronger than Onoki who did best; they still get destroyed by this Madara. Then this guy is reanimated and with 1 rinnegan solos all the bijuu. Kills Sasuke which was relative to Naruto and gets another Rinnegan and god tree absorbed before Naruto and Sasuke can fight him on even foot with 6 paths. At this stage, Mu and Gengetsu get blitzed and 1 shot by this Madara, no argument. Then this guy gets used to fuel Kaguya's reborn and she is definitely stronger than him. Do you see where this is going? The fact that the 5 kage can react at all to Otsutuski relative to Kaguya puts them in a completely separate tier.

If 5 kage against a reanimated Madara did nothing to him and then Kaguya which is stated to be the strongest enemy in the series, much stronger than reanimated Madara gets her horn broken by Sakura that just means that in sheer power Sakura scales above those Kage. But you can't understand so because all your life you thought of Sakura as useless when her feats put her well above Kage level

Good stuff buddy, doubt I will get a response but I grew up on Naruro and remember getting into my mothers room mates laptop just to get my little anime fix so Naruto series really hits home with me, having family with drug issues, and many other problems made this an escape, so good work on pushing content with so much character man.

This generation of Kage are all the strongest of their villages history. Everyone there has held, even if the slightest bit, they held some relativity to Kinshiki, who anyone in shippuden wouldn’t be able to do besides So6p Naruto and Sasuke, DMS Kakashi, and (maybe) Kaguya
