- Poppy playtime chapter 3 had a crazy scene when Dog Day half eaten explains that the other Smiling critters were no longer alive. In today's video we breakdown what happened to all of the smiling critters and what it means for the future of the franchise.
Catnap and the prototype have always had a weird relationship but how does it play into the story and the hour of joy? How does the ending explain what we will face in poppy playtime 4? Why did the smiling critters want to stop them and what happened to them when they got in the way?

There's 2 ways these could lead to
1. Picky Piggy may be seen later as another threat.
2. She did ate the others either by desperation or tricked into doing so and when she finished them she died of starvation.

They can’t even die look at the others they’ve lasted in the play place for years without starving
@@LifeIsOverrated21there are smaller toys in the factory and they are organic creatures with stomachs, there is no reason to assume they can't starve. Especially since huggy seems to have a recommended calorie intake, why would he have one if he didn't need nutrients at all?

Technically Dogday didn’t say he was the last alive, so it’s possible. Picky Piggy went insane so she’s gone mentally. But Ollie being Bobby Bear Hug? Well, the last thing she asks is to be taken with you, so maybe that’ll end up happening later on.

@@goobmaster the last doesn’t mean the last alive. According to a theory when Bobby mentions being lost it can be taken literally. She went missing, no one knowing if she’s dead or alive. As for Bobby being female and Ollie male, it’s possible a male was used for her.

Theoretically, PickyPiggy couldn’t have ate KicknChicken, CraftyCorn, and Bubba Bubbaphant when they were still alive because that would interfere with THEIR deaths, so it would make more sense that PickyPiggy found their dead bodies and ate their dead bodies to not starve (and maybe went insane and ate them). And also, PickyPiggy saying “still hungry” can imply she starved to death. And Bobby Bearhug being super clingy and her saying “I’ve been lost for a long time.” Can mean she was one of the last ones to survive and she couldn’t find anyone. Therefore also dying to natural causes. Or because of her clingy nature, maybe the other Smiling Critters didn’t want to be around her and kicked her out, which can also make her thinking you’re going to abandon her.

I don't really think Picky starved to death because of is line; "Hey want to be friends?" After she said she was still hungry. I think this implied that she lures in prey by acting kind and sweet just enough so that she can easily could eat them (likely little critters)

My theory is that dogday doesn't recognize them as the smiling critters. He calls himself the last one but at the time catnap was alive and he was part of the smiling critters. But dogday refers to catnap as "that thing" or "it" so maybe other critters are alive like catnap but for dogday they are not smiling critters anymore...just monsters.

I think that Picky Piggy may be a mini boss battle in the future. I think she’d be someone who was eating scraps and following Catnap the prototype to be able to be fed. I think Bobby is also still alive due to the ARG. We see a smaller Bobby roaming around the area where DogDay is contained. But (CMIIW) her voicelines don’t show her screaming in agony. I think she may be an ally in the future what with inevitably Kissy Missy being attacked. We’re gonna need a bigger body mascot to assist us with the prototype. I also don’t think DogDay is dead either (at least that’s my hope). But without a doubt, I know for a fact, Ollie is the Prototype.

Hoppy hopscotch and crafty corn are probably still alive. My theory is cat did not completely kill them off. Maybe the product type killed and took away some other body parts.

Theory: Kissy Missy at the end of the chapter was killed by Piggy Piggy, because in one of the Discord post a user said that his favourite toy was Piggy, and the developers said that he will regret it, making us understand that Piggy did or will do something horrible, like killing and eating Kissy

I think Ollie is the prototype cause remember the prototype can Mimic voices however with Ollie’s Voice he tends to go into high pitch, then straight back to low. It’s weird on how he talks as well with such weird phrases and vocab for a “young” boy and everywhere we get told to go is almost trouble. And when Ollie said he can’t speak to us on the other side of the Dome that’s when we encountered what seemed to be less, creatures. And after he immediately asked “Are you okay?” “Are you alive?” Almost like he wants us to be dead without us knowing it.
That is actually a good theory but poppy wouldn't ask the player to take help from ollie if that was the case poppy been there since day 1 so she would know who's who and who's not
if the prototype wants to kill us the why did he help us as ollie dosen't make sense only if he wanted us to go to him so he can kill us i mean u know what i mean right
The prototype cannot mimic voices, it can only replay voice dialouges that it has previously heard (which is why you hear its voice constantly shift)

Theory:
Remember PickyPiggy said "Grilled Chicken? Down the hatch!"? So I think it has something to do with KickinChicken, KickinChicken's cardboard was talking about going outside, and since we all know, chapter 2 ended with us seeing the door to playcare, so I think KickinChicken went out that door, tripped, an fell to the burning train, possibly, KickinChicken was still alive during chapter 2 and died when Catnap took us from the train. So conclusion is that KickinChicken burned to death in the train we were on that crashed and PickyPiggy ate KickinChicken.
So has we killed kickinChicken

Crafty corn could still be alive as well since she doesn’t die herself but instead kills someone else. Another reason: she probably would’ve been the one to write all of the messages on the vent walls in huggy’s chase scene in chapter one
IMO I think olie is the prototype because if you listen to the voice lines of him he sounds like he’s trying to fake being a child.And also because in one of the tapes it shows the prototype speaking with multiple voices. Also RIP kissy missy 🤧

I don't think that could've been her. Because she was an employee before being turned into a giant plush toy. Meaning that she probs looked after the children in home sweet home and had a special bond with one of the kids. I theorize that maybe she misses the orphans she took care of in that place.

For my theory i think catnap didnt purposely kill them most of the smiling critters just killed themselves since catnap is a follower of the prototype it has rules and some of them broke the rules and catnap doesnt wanna have to kill his friends but forcefully does cause to catnap he see prototype as a god so some of them were eliminated the rest was just themselves killing theirselves
When pressing the buttons, some have full dialogue while others are distorted. Something tells me the ones with full dialogue are serving the prototype while the ones who didn't were offed.
Now ollie being the bear is a good theory as he probably doesn't or didnt know dogday was still alive
This is the actual survived, smiling critters The actual surviving, smiling photos will not be in chapter 4, so there’s piggy piggy she survived, but she will starve to death in chapter 4 dog day might be in chapter 4, but he survived cause ventrally the mini critters. Just crawl out so hoppy hopscotch just landed it into a bush. She never actually died, but she will not be seen in chapter 4, mostly because catnap has stolen the critters. Most of the survives critters will die in chat before, though you were just never know that they died in chapter 4 because they all survived eventually you find some more monsters, but the reason why catnap cut off dog days legs is because he was jealous dog that was the leader of the group

Theory how each critter died:
- Bubba Bubbaphant: Listening to his screams as he dies, he is also laughing. If you have watched the video of CatNap putting the others to sleep, they laugh beforehand. Catnap had gassed Bubba, and then took the chance and killed him while Bubba was under the influence of the gas
- Hoppy Hopscotch: Hoppy sounded as to get more angry as time progressed within the voice lines, nearing the end, we hear her say “no, no, don’t look at your feet!”. As the last clip ends, it sort of glitches, cuts to static, then ends. My theory for her is that she jumped off something high, and died after impact to the ground
- KickinChicken: Considering how he said he had never been outside before, and that Poppy says that if we ever try to leave at our current point, he’ll kill us before we make it out. It’s not that bad of an idea to assume that the Prototype killed Kickin before they made it to outside
- Bobby Bearhug: Bobby states that they don’t want us to abandon them, as they probably were before. Since we never hear a death sound from the voice lines, she very easily could have been lost deep inside the factory, and died where not even Picky could find her
- PickyPiggy: After it sounds that Picky had eaten most of her friends, she says she is still hungry, and wants to be friends with us. It’s safe to assume she starved to death
- Craftycorn: from her voice lines, we can hear she wants some red color, after thinking we are hiding it, static is heard and now she says it’s all better. Assuming the color came from blood, having she killed one of her friends to get it, it’s possible she was killed by the others after this such event, although we never hear a death line from her
- DogDay: while his cutout isn’t him dying as we see him not long after, you can hear his legs being cut off, and then hitting the ground. Although, the way he may have died was the smiling critters, as they would have devoured the rest of the body. (Just a side note, just before the chase sequence, we can hear DogDay’s vocal cords being eaten)

another clue could be the credits in the cartoon; only the voice actors for DogDay, PickyPiggy, and Bobby BearHug were credited, even though the other Critters also spoke.
I think most likely the ones which are still alive are crafty corn and pickyPiggy since they are the only characters which the cut out voice lines don’t have a scream other than catnap

I have a theory that Catnap chained up DogDay and then used the Poppy Gas on Picky Piggy to make her hallucinate Kickin, Bubba and Crafty as tasty food to eat and kill them.

Now we have picky Picky, a healthy eater who loves food and encourages her friends to eat a well balanced diet though she also harbors secret fondness for cheeseburgers and PB&J sandwiches. Her voice lines include her expressing her love for food, but as you go on, she slowly starts to talk about meals that are made of the rest of the smiling critters but even after that she says that she is still hungry and then offered a friendship with us...she says in her voice lines "I'm picky Picky! Let's eat!, Roast beef? Delicious! Grilled chicken? Down the hatch! Seared elephant? Yum! Flayed unicorn? Mmmm...still hungry...hey how about you and I be friends?..." Now knowing this it's clear that Picky ate all her friends and still needed to eat afterwards but now we have two problems wouldn't that get in the way how everyone else died and how did she end of dying after she ate everyone? Well this actually means that picky Picky had to been the last to die on top of that the fact that you don't hear her screaming or being killed in her voice lines but I think after all the smiling critters killed by catnap, the prototype, picky was the last one alive excluding DogDay and to keep living she ate the bodies and after that she had no more food to eat and she eventually starving to death

Get this yo, in chapter 2 we thought we was gonna get kissy missy as the antagonist, never happened, now for chapter 3 we thought the new antagonist was gonna be daddy long legs, also never happened, so what makes us think that they'll be the new antagonist

I think the Mommy Long Legs cutout kinda implies that when she died, her cutout, well, cut out and stopped working, which implies that Huggy Wuggy and a few of the Smiling Critters are still alive. But, it’s kinda a weak theory

@@the1ndonlygracie we have seen from the example of Dogday that a scream is not a guarantee that the character is actually dead. And her scream, in my opinion, sounds unnatural and looks more like a program glitch. So I would not write off the theory that Hoppy Hopscotch is alive
Crafty corn asks for more red paint, and then screaming is heard, so she likely murdered some of the smiling critters for blood to paint with, so she could be alive

Hoppy is a girl and Ollie is a boy poppy points out that Ollie is a boy
Maybe Hoppy may have a boosting jump ability (due being a rabbit) somehow, that may helped him to survive or run away somehow. In his soundbox it is show him trying to jump really high and seems sorta desperate.

There’s new Info on Bobby Bearhug, her bigger body experiment had trouble getting up and could talk at all. From what I’ve read she can’t hear either, apparently the people who worked on her bigger body forgot to attach something to the brain that allows her to speak and hear.

What if the human version of the bear is a love interest of the protagonist? Most cardboards do drop small lore about what happened to certain characters or their personality sometimes in relation to the protagonist. Because if I remember correctly the bear said something about leaving her (assuming it's a girl) and let's also not forget some employees got turned into these toys

Remember: Dogday Found His legs so dogday is still alive but you can save crafty corn too so the alive ones are: Dogday craftycorn and catnap and maybe the rest might still be alive from the part where u get the little shooter and u see the smiling critters so yea.
When you listen to the hoppy hopscotch cutout it sounds suspiciously like Ollie and if this theory is correct it means that dogday catnap Bobby picky and hoppy are the only ones left with her saying “Chicken elephant and unicorn” with no mention of rabbit, dog or bear

The truth is picky piggy is the last critter to die except Catnap and dogday... Because she starve you know she eat to much food as the hour of joy... She died to starve without a balance meal... From Bobby bear she already died... When you heard her saying she's lost. It means she gone so far that Catnap killed her already without a scream and that's why dogday said that he was last of the smiling critters... Because catnap is not part of them anymore...
Picky piggy ate all the smiling critters so she can survive but sadly she died🕊️
My theory is that Dog day lied to us about the critters to prevent us from continuing through Playtime's factory and all of them are alive (except himself and Catnap)
The first chapter felt like a paid demo but it wasn’t until the second chapter came along that it felt like you were playing an actual full game and the third chapter improved on a lot of things 👍
