🙂Hi Chris I had to get a new phone my other got dropped in dishwater🤭 oh yes that was so silly writing the prices on the label🙄 yes Christmas is getting close wishing a Merry Christmas 🎄🎁 Thank you for the video of record hunting. Have a dreamy beautiful day ☀️❤🌈
REM for a dollar....I'll take that any day even without a cover. It's worth the gamble anyway. The way that so many stores around here abuse their 45's is the reason why I don't have so many. No covers leave the opportunity for people to rake their claws all over them. I would have passed on them too, not worth $5 for abused vinyl. In fact, I have had offers like that before and passed on them. Not worth the trouble in most cases.
I'm more willing to chance 45s because the older singles often play much better than they look. Also, when you find rare desirable 45s, you'll probably never find it again. If they are common "hit" records, then no reason to get ones that are in marginal condition.
@@RekkidTalk My current line of thinking is that I really don't have a great way to store 45's. I've been on the look out for some 45 sized carrying cases, but not having any luck finding any. So I don't want to go overboard on those singles until I get a better way to store them. But if it's got the original sleeve and is something desirable and a bit obscure, then I'm usually all in.
Hi Chris!!! well sometimes you win...... but it sucks that REM for a $1 was unplayable and also Quiet Riot and a resounding NO!!! priceless. cheers and be well
You're late with gambling record video. I did already record bingo with my latest thrifting video where I was searching The most common thrift records found everywhere. Planning to do new one, but with price to win if you get bingo!

The guy who owns that booth obvious cares nothing for those records.

@@TCatsDeepVinylTraxx If you aren't opposed to buying online, there are several places to get 7 inch record boxes. I have several, sigh.

Spoiler alert: you might be seeing that QR record in another video in the near future.
Several years ago I would see kids making YT shorts with Fidget Spinners. I had forgotten about them.
Everyone had. There was a bowl with about 20 of them, and I bought 2 for some reason.
T(at Lawrence Welk was in great condition, wow. Who would still want to buy a set of encyclopedias?
Who would still want to buy vinyl records?
Only $5 for the lot and a resounding no.
It's hard to believe sometimes, but I do have standards.
@@RekkidTalk Can't be high based the purchases on this video. Lol.
Hey, the warped R.E.M. album was still better than those 45s I passed on.
@@RekkidTalk That is probably very true!
