I always enjoyed your “happy go lucky” flight attendant movies. Lately it’s been a lot of long monologues instead. I am sad to see that life’s challenging circumstances (and the pressures of UA-cam?) seems to dampen your joy a little? I wish you nothing but blessings and hope that you will find your happy place again soon! ❤ Commuting to Philadelphia seems an unnecessary added stress. Is there no equal airline you could join where you are? Would you lose your seniority? 😢
I honestly appreciate that you have kept such healthy boundaries with his father's illness and passing. Yes, there were bread crumbs (moving to PA for a family situation, the mention in the apt tour) but you kept the family's space and time with him sacred. I feel like so many creators use something like that as content. Thank you for taking care of yourself and your family in that way.
Sending my thoughts to your and Erics family. Losing a parent is the worst feeling in the world. Also Luna is the sweetest pup. She knew her momma needed her.

Sending thoughts and prayers to your airline community today. I live close to DCA and it's so tragic to see what happened. My thoughts are with everyone but also want to acknowledge the pilots and attendants on the flight that were lost and their families, friends and coworkers that have been affected ❤

I just want to give you a virtual hug and express my condolences. My wife and I have lost both our parents and in some ways it feels like we are now fully grown up. I don't know what the final moments were like, but looking back, they were truly precious and a chance to say thank you and good bye. I cannot overemphasize your thoughts about always being kind and want to extend that to you, Eric, Luna and your families. I really appreciate your humanity and the excitement of what you are doing.
My sympathy and condolences to you and Eric. As said, I lost my precious son, Eiric, my only child, suddenly in June this year; two undiagnosed medical conditions. He was only 47. The grief is crushing. Our loved ones are irreplaceable. Grieve as you must, as long as you must. I will miss my beloved son forever ❤🙏😪.

I am so glad your reserve month is coming to a close and grateful you have an understanding manager too. So very glad to hear you are feeling better and that you were all loved on at Eric’s dad’s memorial service. Remember to give yourself grace when life feels like it’s all coming at you at once and thank you for reminding us that you sincerely do not know what someone is going through. A little kindness goes a long way ❤.

Julia you are such a master story teller. Wow, such frustrating circumstances to begin the new year with ugh! Traveling has been tough so far this year. I was stuck in KY for a week due to the recent ice storms and my flight to Atlanta was delayed 6 hours to Los Angeles after it took me 7 hours delay in Lexington YIKES!!! The weather has been so wacky!! Fires here in LA are finally over and we have rain today thank God!! Hope your travels are much smoother as we approach February. Love the vlogs!!

I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm 61 my dream job since I was 12 years old was to be a Flight Attendant. That was what I always dreamed about and talked about. At 16 my life took a different path sadly. But thank you so much for letting me get a glimpse into your life and career. It makes me smile!! 💖

Deep condolences to Eric, his mom, siblings, you and your family. We are looking at the one year anniversary of losing my husband, kids dad. The crushing pain has lessened but of course, we will forever miss him. It does get a bit easier. From the intense pain to maybe “melancholy “ this year. People are precious: yes, let’s just be kind. 💙

1:15 scary thing to hear when you get there. weather can really shake things up for everyone. Have to appreciate all the workers that make things happen around the weather, it shuck things up for them too. We all have to help each other everyday. Julia, I am so sorry for your and Eric's loss of his dad. I don't think words can express how you feel when you lose a parent, then getting sick on top of it! I lost my mom in August, 10 days later I came down with pneumonia. I have heard that when you are grieving your immune system is compressed, I guess that could be true. Stay healthy and remember all the good times you had with your father in-law, they will keep him alive with you.

Last night there was a pretty severe 4 alarm fire 2 blocks away from us it was so sad and scary the building that was on fire(now put out) I walk on that block almost everyday. if you're wondering my family and I are ok

@@JettingJulia -That craziness at ORD, and then MIA, between the weather, equipment availability, crew scheduling, crew housing, and hotel arrangements sounded like playing a four-dimensional chess game! Absolutely nuts!! BUT - such is life in the transportation industry, whether it be airlines, the railroads, trucking, city transit or even school bus operations, there are times when things totally go askew. God bless the crews in operations that somehow or other manage to sort out the craziness going on right in front of them and still manage to get everyone where they're supposed to be, even if not as originally scheduled. Gotta love it, right?
On a personal note, I totally understand you taking time with Eric over the loss of his father. Everyone grieves differently, thankful that you were able to work thru the initial grief together with Eric and his mom. The shock still exists, lessens with time, but never fully fades away completely - it's been 57 years since my father passed suddenly, and I still miss him to this day. . . Then adding to the grief getting sick. . . talk about a double whammy! Thankfully you're on the mend, and Miss Luna is definitely showing strong signs of supporting your recovery - aren't dogs amazing? Finally, I really enjoyed parts 1 & 2 of this vlog, you really have a talent for storytelling. As always, Cheers from GEG ❣

Safe to say a rather tumultuous few weeks for you guys. Hugs and positive thoughts for everyone. Well I've been with my NJ family (other brother) for most of the month and didn't take long for him, his gal pal and I to catch that nasty Norovirus aka stomach bug which apparently is running rampant in this part of the country. Comes hard and fast. Luckily passes after couple days.

Wow Lol! It sounds like the reserve block I’m on right now too! We got so delayed yesterday that they had to remove 2 legs off of our schedules! The day before we had so many delays that it turned a nice layover into almost a minimum one. Then crew support called and made our stay longer because of another delay and then we sat an hour at the airport after that waiting for our circling aircraft to land. We have one more leg today to go home to SFO and I’m also looking forward to the end of this 4-day trip! I’m so sorry for the loss Eric’s father.
