Heroes of the Storm (HotS) is a raucous online team brawler starring your favorite Blizzard characters.
Nova is a burst damage Mage who can ambush enemies from Stealth.
November "Nova" Terra, the Dominion Ghost, is a Ranged Assassin Hero from the StarCraft universe.[1] She is a ghost of the Terran Dominion and one of the most powerful psionic soldiers ever known. Nova is highly focused, determined, and extremely deadly. Even Jim Raynor wouldn't want to be caught within her crosshairs.

Nova main here: bribe isn't that great on Blackheart's Bay imo, it's a large map with only the Ogres you really want to spend stacks on. Better to take Rapid Projection here to help soak and be an overall nuisance. Also, Crippling Shot's armour reduction doesn't stack with AA Shells, so it's a little bit wasteful. If you take Lethal Decoy in combination with Rapid Projection, you not only have a deceptive amount of harass and poke, but often a single shot from the decoy does more damage than the 20% increase you'd get from Crippling Shot. Point is, don't sleep on Rapid Projection and Lethal Decoy if you take either AA-Shells or One in the Chamber. Good vid and hope to see you on the Nexus sometime :)
Pally does seem a bit too enamoured with bribe talents in general. There are certainly times when they're great, but he seems to pick them unless a build specifically *requires* another talent on the same tier.

As others have said, Bribe is OK but Rapid Projection is very strong - and not just for OitC. Clone spam increases vision, disruption, damage and also survivability of both Nova and her team (i.e., blocking orbs and stuff). Synergizes well with AAS, too. The point of Apollo Suit is the synergy with the level 13 Stealth talent. It basically works out to armour on demand.
Your Nova trying to break a treasure chest is like 'oh my god this is sad...you can do it little lady. There you go."

I agree with what others have said, you're sleeping on rapid projection. Even more so on the One in the Chamber build. For all builds, it takes attention of the minion wave away from even friendly minions, which can actually result in a huge lane push (You still won't win against a hero designed to push lanes, but it helps if you're relegated to soaking a lane). For the OitC build, it gives even more damage obviously.
It always amazes me how many players apparently overlook how well Clone spam works for freezing lanes and helping to build up a huge friendly wave.

I like Apollo suit sometimes if they don't have a lot of aoe to bring you out of stealth. In this game for example it would be a much smaller window for Butcher to click on you. I also almost always go for mana regen and move speed on cloak at level 1 so at lvl 20 I never have to back and am basically always mounted.
Not all talents have to be good. Some are just comfy.
Since you have been up against dehaka twice but haven’t done so yet, if you can react fast enough, you should be able to use nova decoy to block the tongue. This is both handy since you can “self cast” it and also good since you can save an ally with utility in a teamfight. This should apply to most skillshots that stop on hitting a target.
It is especially good into dehaka though since he can’t cancel his tongue so he is looking like a kid with his tongue frozen to a pole for a second.
i like doing that and another good one to use your decoy on is stitches hook. with good timing u can use the decoy to block most skill shots and it always feels goo doing it ;p

I feel like the Cloak 20 talent can be pretty good if you take the other Cloak talents at lvl 1 and 13.
It makes you REALLY annoying to deal with. Especially with Clone build. You're kinda like a ranged Samuro lmao

This build is perfect for the skin with the crossbow.
I actually like Apollo Suit alot. Two seconds is huge on her cloak.
the armor reductions dont stack, just the highest applies. this is why i take explosive at 16 instead.

I play a fair amount of nova and your lvl 20 apollo suit (with lvl 13 ionic forced field is fun) is not that bad to use with lvl 7 AA build if the enemy team has a fair amount of chase but not much to revile you (tracer). its good for constant harass with lvl 7 aa and if u go the extra slow on lvl 1 talent u can use it on cool down. that said there are better lvl 20 talents ;)

How do you get teammates in quickmatch who know how to play the game? 90% of the time I can't fullfill my role in the team when all the lanes are pushed in because my teammates can't even handle playing 2 vs 1 in lane. All of my time goes into running back and forth and helping them

So if I'm reading apollo suit correctly, you become perma invis after 2 seconds instead of 4 if you stop moving?
It gives you stealth after 1 second when out of combat instead of after 3 seconds. It's decent when combined with the other two stealth talents at level 1 (Advanced Cloaking: Even more movement speed while stealthed as well as extra mana regen) and level 13 (Ionic Force Field: 25 armor for 3 seconds after dropping stealth). And since the trigger for invisibility is standing still for 1.5 seconds while in stealth, that reduces the total time to go fully invisible to 2.5 seconds.
Do note that you give up Long Shot and Double Tap (or Psionic Efficiency) for those two talents, but the combination of talents turns Ghost Protocol (her 1 ability) into a semi-decent escape tool.

Nova is garbage because
No mobility
No escape - her 60 seconds cooldown should grant 3 seconds invulnerability , cloak and speed
No Damage - it is garbage
No crowd control
bad abilities
Bad talents
Bad level 10 and 20 talents
While triple tap is the best ultimate it can be blocked , dodged and while every body wants the level 20 talent and the 5 man team wipe with it you no longer see that happening.
Precision strike at least is good for lane clear / tower damage if you don't have set-up to use it, but to use it like that it is garbage.
Dang that Mei, what a horrible teammate! Don't play pvp games if u can't stand to loose! 🤦♂
