Vinyl Dens is one of my favorite Channel 33 RPM segments! I can only imagine how much free time Simon must have to be able to collect and watch all those DVD's. Any 33ers whose significant others complain about their music buying habits should show that segment to them, and say "See, I'm not so bad after all!"
....or just get rid of the significant other perhaps ? lol
I manage to squeeze in a movie a night, and as I work from home, records are always spinning!

I very much like the use of dividers. That looked clean, and finding an album looks to be easy. These room tours are wonderful. It's a a lot fun to see these expressions of individual passions through their rooms and collections. Great to see. I truly admire the effort and commitment all of these folks have put forth to create these oasis of audio and visual pleasure for all of us to see.

The Ortofon 2M Bronze is a nice step up from 2M Blue and not as pricey as the black. Just a thought. I have a bronze cart and really love it. It came with my TT and I thought I'd upgrade it but ended up really digging it. YMMV.

Give me a well used recliner, a good beer and a few great albums. The rooms are cool, but with you ears opening listening and eyes closed it doesn’t matter where you are.
Great to see these collections! I have my records and CDs organized and alphabetical order and release order. Everything is in my room because I am in shared housing. I try not to get to carried away with my music hoarding. Sure ❤ what I have. Makes me happy to listen to music. I have vinyl sleeves on my albums also.
All of those music rooms look awesome. Especially the first movie/music, super fantastic. 🤘🏻🎃

I’m jealous lol. My listening space is my lounge with 2 Technics 1210 Mk2 decks and a pair of Lynn and a pair of Mission Speakers. My record collection sits upstairs in the spare bedroom. One day I’ll get a proper record room. One day 🤞

Hi Frank, before you check out the Ortofon Black, check out the Ortofon Bronze first. The Bronze is between the Blue and the Black. I like the Bronze for more fullness and punch in the sound over the Blue. I will say that while there’s a difference between the Blue and Bronze, it’s not as much of a difference as there is between the Red and the Blue.
I too would like to check out the Black, but it’s just too expensive. The Bronze is as far as I can go. However, my main workhorse is the Blue, which I’m very happy with.

Always cool to see other people's audio rooms. I am hoping to fix up part of my basement and make a dedicated room for music down there. Right now, my setup is in my main living room, so I have to keep it wife friendly as much as possible. My speakers and gear look pretty good so she doesn't mind to much, but I would like to have more interesting music flavored decor. So, I'll have to wait until I get the basement done to relocate everything and spice it up a little.

Awesome spaces, must send you mine fairly modest one some day. On that Mcintosh setup, I got three records on RSD and one was the Grateful Dead, 'Playin' In the Band' which has on it's the cover a picture of the infamous Wall of Sound. I understand they used no less than 60(!) 300 watt per channel Mcintosh amps for that!

Chris’s space is very clean too. I want to go there and pull one of his records a 1/2 inch out of place. Just to screw with him;)

I’m a longtime 33er and your channel is the first one i saw over 5 years ago! I actually just did my first room tour last month and if you get a chance to check it out that would be cool ! I do understand if you can’t! I have 4,000 records along with hundreds of CDs and cassettes and i do have a very cool feature in my music room that I haven’t seen in anyone else’s! I would submit pics but that would necessitate dusting!
Obviously people love the music or they would not be in this hobby. But it is interesting to note that sound quality seems to always take a back seat. So many rooms seen on the internet lack proper treatment and correct speaker placement. I always wonder if people just don't care or do they have no idea what they are missing?
Good topic! I suppose everyone has their priorities and must make certain compromises. For example, my music space is 10 feet by 10 feet, and it needs to house all my stereo gear and records, while also function as a home office, so certain compromises must be made.
I replaced paper sleeves the slow and lazy way. Whenever I played an LP without a poly sleeve it would get one.
That is generally what I do as well.

All the expensive Macintosh equipment and running a cheap Blue phono cartridge just doesn't make sense.
