That spring is a spare internal spring that raises the rest.

@@HaxenHunt its actually reverse coiled so you can change it and use the rest as a cable driven rest instead of limb
So you have the main tool that most people don't have, a bow press surely makes this way easier when you already have one.

Yes and yes! It worked great! Killed my spike elk with it too! Ended up taking a frontal shot at 20 yards and had a full pass through on him!
