I love the pick up. It reminds me of the demazio humbucker that they used to put in the old kramer duke! Put very light flats on it and put it thru a big muff pi! Mini Metal!!!!
So cool, you literally made an axe! 😁 And now I have another great traditional-ish Asian musician to follow. Amazing how using that Black(tm) made the body disappear. Thanks for sharing!
lol. So no joke, a long time ago I gave up imagining anything. I just do what I'm doing and work towards the very next thing I want to do with no real "long term" plans. I've had sooooo many unimaginable forks in the road so far, what's the point in picking a route? Pick each turn as it arrives and let the destination be a surprise.
1,629th looky-loo view about to happen... meanwhile, I'm still just working on my Irish tenor banjo chops. LOL... and you're building stuff few folks can't even pronounce. So - this new 'ax' is actually a 'blade'...? Makes sense to me. Maybe with 4 strings, I could tune it GDAE and show up to the seisiún with it and WOW the Irish trad fans.
NiNi can shred! Glad to see your work being displayed on a larger level.
That's simply amazing
What an awesome build!
That is so cool, I had seen this instrument on her chanel and marveld at how awesome it looked and sounded.
Wicked that you made it.
You have the coolest job in the world.
That's amazing! I love the artistry and creativity, you knocked it out of the park and stayed true to your ideas and values!!
So cool, I started following because you made a stand-up base out of a wood door. 😊
LOL! Yea, I still play it and you can see and hear it in my past couple videos about double bass pickups :)
Now that was an amazing instrument build Tim! Well done! 👍👍

Sweet sounds like a Chinese restaurant in the Aphelion Mountains 😊
Love that you get to take a stab at electrifying all these traditional instruments!
in this case, "stab" is the operative word!
Very cool project. I wonder how many people have used that Stewart Semple stuff on builds

If you set up the lights right and stuff, I've seen video and photo done with black 3.0 that are truly mind-bending.
So cool Tim!!!! I think there is a flat clear that some of the Hot Rod guys use. May still be more of a matt or satin than a flat.
I know what you mean and have seen it, but it’s not the same
Nice work, all the elements really come together. Did you ever imagine you’d be here when you were making coffee tables in your garage?
