- Hop in the DeLoreon with me and let's go back to June 2023 before I decluttered half my wardrobe, and before Beau was on ADHD meds! I personally love looking back at older footage to see how far we've come. The backgrounds of these videos are filled with so much chaos, as are the conversations and content itself. We've grown a lot not just in creating a more functioning house, but getting a better hold of Beau's constant chaotic energy has given me more time and peace. I'm sure there's all sorts of correlations between neurodivergence and having a chaotic, cluttered house, so watching both of these issues improve over time simultaneously is very fulfilling to me.
We're ALL doing better than this now in so many ways. Not to say that there is anything wrong with these videos, necessarily. There's just a LOT going on. But like always, there's lots of LOVE here which is what matters most. It's just nice to have more calm, peaceful loving moments here now that the house is in better shape.

I sometimes miss the things they say in the moment (I mean there’s a lot going on at all times - the chaos and sounds can overwhelm me and I shut down) so I don’t know if I truly absorbed it when he said that in the moment. I teared up a little when I was editing this video. I love hearing them be confident and proud of themselves!! I’m sure I’ve made a lot of questionable moves as a mom (way too much UA-cam time for one LOL) but stuff like that makes me think we must have done something right!
no one is perfect and should not be, we are people, not robots 😉 the main thing for children is your love, only it is important and they will remember it to the end ❤️

I have 1 suggestion for laundry, do 1 person’s laundry at a time, on separate days with separate laundry baskets.
No need to sort after drying, just take the basket to the correct room. If the kids share a room, 2 separate baskets.

I love this, you and Blake are rocking it as in the moment loving, listening, and involved parents. The proof is in what they say and do, they love and respect you so much back. The boys although different personalities, in many ways bring back memories of my nephew at their age (he’s now 22 and a great human) so nice to remember my little person as he was then.
