    Love the look of this kind of workflow - very non destructive. Also so cool seeing everything done in blender. What do you use for the stencils? And also can all of the textures along with stencils be baked into textures for exporting into a game engine for example?

    • @ohmycaaat
      @ohmycaaat  29 днів тому +1

      The plugin is called Decal Machine, link in the description. It can be used for game engine, it's called midpoly modeling and this method is uses im various modern AAA games. Decals are exported as separate texture, this allows you to use lower texel density in the main texture and very fine and readable decals at the same time

    • @ohmycaaat
      @ohmycaaat  Місяць тому +1

      Thanks! I would like to convey the original concept 100%, and it is much easier to evaluate when the pose matches the concept, so I rig it at the beginning. Not sure if everyone does this, but I found it very convenient

    • @ohmycaaat
      @ohmycaaat  Місяць тому +1

      Also I made two keyframes at the beginning, first one is T pose where I can easily model, and second one is concept pose or animation pose, where I checking the result. And I can switch between them very fast by Alt+Mouse wheel

    • @ohmycaaat
      @ohmycaaat  28 днів тому +1

      Ahh sorry, I didn't show this part, because I changed internals of Ducky3D shaders. If you have Principled BSDF then Decal Machine can match it with no problems, but with complex materials you can change your material to fit Decal machine, then create Node Group and paste it to Decal material directly. Reach me in instagram if you have problems
