Yes there really is a place in California called Eureka. I have relatives that live there and have done for the last 20 years. its on the edge of the redwood forests, my aunts place regularly has eagles, hummingbirds flying around and its close to another town with the more prosaic name of Arcata which looks like the town centre of Hill Valley from Back To The Future except its over-run with stoners. 😀 Theres a university nearby which so far as I remember, specialises in marine biology. Its an interesting place.
I bought a Taylor GS Mini there in 2013 which I kept for years. ... the only downside is that its an absolute pig to get to from London. An absolute pig of a journey. Did it once, never ever ever again.
