When I told my colleagues that I am going to see Ultravox in concert (8.11.2012), the response is either "Who?!" or "Oh yeah, my dad liked them too". But still looking forward to seeing them all the same. Been a fan since '81 and this'll be my first U-vox concert (did see Midge in concert in 2001.... totally brilliant!).
Was there. Good gig. Took my two sons (12 and 11). They loved it, Rushed to the front and Midge smiled and winked at them...lol. First gig they've ever been to. Seemed strange seeing them after so very long (I was 18 last time!) ha ha ha!
that guitar is scorching. hearing it like this, i feel like 'Idiot Country' on the first Electronic album owes it a debt of gratitude. or maybe that was the inspiration for this beefed-up version ...
