This is such fun tactile game. Thanks for the great play through. I believe that there is supposed to be a penalty for taking tiles and not completing them, and you're supposed to deduct points for any incomplete puzzles after Finishing Touches.
I think that was an added rule that didn't end up in original published rulebook, but is official as per the designer. Also rather than storing finished puzzles faceup with scores showing, I think the rule was adjusted to facedown.
@@seymour_krelbornThat's the way it is in my rule book. I got mine on the Kickstarter for the Finesse expansion. Completed tiles go face down, and incomplete puzzles cost you their point value.
Lucky enough to find the reprint for about $30 🥰 Ty ty for the awesome playthrough of a great game🥰 Also, I usually hate commercials, but the GameGenic items are so awesome I dont mind watching just to see all their great stuff 🥰
Two things. The first one is that while performing a master action, you gotta place one piece each on all of your existing puzzles, you can't not place a piece on one puzzle. The second thing is that you can't move a piece once you place it on a puzzle.
You are only half right - from the rulebook section on the Master action: "You may choose to not place a piece on a puzzle, and you cannot place more than 1 on each"
Project L is one of the saddest story in the industry. Boardcubator has produce such a well adored game, yet the company had to go down. It was also sad that they couldn't include the Ghost pieces and finesse expansion to the retail. Really hope that some other publisher can pick up this game. In an unexpected way, this game reminds me games like Splendor, and it will serve well to those audience who like simple abstract game, and it will stay in my collection for a very long time.
my only criticism of this game is the lack of interaction between players. a problem common with other games that involve individual player boards. you can start a game, put your head down and focus only on your boards, then 15 min later look up and add up your points. But I do like it.
Not exactly. You are competing with the other players for the additional puzzle boards in the market. That plays a big role in what actions you take during your turn and how you build out your collection of pieces.

Do you also get salty when you see toothpaste ad when you already have toothpaste?... lol The ad isn't targetting you, so just ignore it instead of having a fit.
Many thanks. Dave always explains games well. So much so I ordered this while watching. Great game love playing it. Thanks you guys are awesome.
Great to see James here. I love what Druid City produces.

Though it does also give the option to have victory points visible.
Fun game, have played it - super quick and simple for all types of players.
I thought you had to subtract the value of any incomplete tiles at the end. That prevents someone taking the last 4 tiles to rush game end.
You guys made it super easy to understand with the gameplay and your communication throughout thank you❤😁
Great video as always. Good seeing James Hudson on again.
Ooo this has been in my wishlist for ages, great to see it played!

I really really like this game, nice tile laying game.
We love Project L! Thanks for the fun video.

Just played this one a little while ago - was surprised at how quick it was! Polyomino games really scratch my brain in the right way 😎
I just bought this game!! Looking forward to play it, great playthrough!!
That thumbnail tho hehe. Game reminds me of the where you fill in the shapes with pens, but more flexible. 😁❤️
Ooooh I love it!
We've scored a max of 29pts in our two player games. Lower in 4P though, 16-22pts. :)
I think you can also take puzzle from the blind deck on top
Even if thats not in the rules it sounds like a cool House Rule to add to the game 🥰 Have a blast and laughs 😇
Nice look'n Trayz!
the lack of Master actions being taken early on is super frustrating

FYI they are currently live on kickstarter with a reprint AND a bunch of expansion packs including the ghost pieces.. I just backed the project.
Great job at pronoucing the Czech names of the creators, Dave 🙂
Weeeeeeeeeee!! Thanks. It's really the only part of Game Night that makes me a little anxious :)
@@davidarnott4850Well, Czech names has to be difficult for you I can imagine, there is a lot of wierd symbols and all 😀
That was a very fun watch! Where did you get those blue piece organizers? My game didn't come with one.
Super hyped! I'm going to main Ahri, but Darius looks sick too
Best line ... Lincoln's "What the L!"
Lol his one liners in this video are the best 😂😂

15 mins in and nobody did a master action. Why 😢😢😢
Have you checked Pole Position, now in Kickstarter?..can be the best F1 board game simulator ever made?
I love this channel. But... I think it is time to stop mentioning that if we click on the bell we get notified. We know.
You're complaining about a 5 second reminder on a 45 min video? Bro.

I really enjoyed this playthrough, thinking of getting this game 😊 thanks for the great video! 👍🏾 👍🏾
