What a lovely set! Can't wait to check out this marvellous show on 4K quality. Not only it is the greatest story ever presented on television but also one of the most visually stunning productions I've ever seen. I'd rank my favourite seasons as follows from best to "least best": Season 4 -> Season 6 -> Season 8 -> Season 3 -> Season 7 -> Season 1 -> Season 5 -> Season 2. All of them brilliant, though.

Just received my box set. Since I hate stacked discs, I changed the cases so that seasons 1, 2 & 3 have a 5 disc case, each containing one bonus disc. Seasons 4, 5 & 6 have a 4 disc case. Seasons 7 & 8 have a 3 disc case. I guarantee it fits in the box. The booklet doesn’t fit in though.

I do hope they update it soon! This is why I am intentionally waiting to hear confirmation before I redeem mine. If already redeemed, I’m sure Vudu can be contacted in order to get UHD once they update it.
I do not see the steelbook 4K version on Amazon. However I do see an expensive Blu-ray collectors edition but it is Blu-ray, not 4K. Maybe I am not finding it? But the packaging does say Best Buy exclusive I believe. And wow! It will be a third time to watch the series! That’s amazing.
@@EskimoTV yeh I think the problem might be that I live in the UK therefore our Amazon's have different products. It would also make sense due to the UK not actually having a best buy haha!

I bet you the steelbook team that worked on the artwork for the steelbooks made it a Best Buy exclusive in the United States but still wanted to make it available for people who live elsewhere and thus you are able to find it on Amazon :-)
*I'm kinda regretting I bought it: not only we no longer have that option that allows you to play each episode seamlessly, without any interruptions as you change from one disc to the next one, but I also find myself watching some bits that look as if I'm watching a regular/mediocre Blu-ray version or, much worse, a DVD or a VHS cassette: in season 2, for instance, there's a scene (I can't remember the number of the episode), in which Cersei confronts Tyrion about him sending Myrcella to Dorne; I swear to God it was as if I was watching some shitty recording from a 90s TV show on VHS; simply appalling.* *If anyone reading this has it too, I'd really appreciate if you let me know whether I'm the only victim of this betrayal or not. Thank you very much in advance!*
I understand that train of thought as it is pretty pricey and a bit much to spend especially if you own it. I do think it is a nice quality to explore at some point though! May be considered getting or borrowing from someone if you ever decide to run through the series again at a later time?

The seasons 1 & 8 redeem digitally only in HD and are still all HD on vudu etc. Hopefully, it updates soon.

I don't think vudu has any shows in 4k at this time, even other 4k shows such as Westworld, castle rock, chernobyl, etc.
Gotta agree. I would love to have this in 4k, but no artwork in the cases to match the seasons or discs considering the huge price tag is a letdown.

Unfortunately they are not! I don’t believe TV shows redeem in 4K on VUDU so they will redeem as HDX. That is unless they update it in the future.

LOL that’s a fair point but there’s a large enough audience for this show to warrant a 4K release.
