Hey Jengar, itd be really cool to see you cover the MB 157 french fighter. I think performance is extremely good, but itll be a challenge due to the guns and lack of ammo. Love the content!
I love the P61! Above 6000 meters you can basically outrun everything. I have taken down a lot of pe8s with it. The only downside for me is that my gunnery with the turrets is terrible.
yeah, my turret gunnery in this plane isnt to my liking yet either.
Fantastic video mate! Great plane too, I just spaded it yesterday, Funny how many people underestimate you in the matches when flying this thing. I didn't realise how So much better than the premium one this is!

I have always loved this plane even tho I always seem to get more kills with the turret because of enemies that think this thing is an easy kill. Didn't know they were about to get .50 snack x4. Anyways dude once again thanks for taking your own path, and blue skies
ty James, im tired of the hype machine, i cant stomack F-16's, F-14's and more premiums to pull in the cash, anymore without work on the gameplay, gamemode, maps, br compression (F-16 at 11.7). I'm tired of it. So i decided to focus on the rank Reviews, and single plane reviews as i go trough the rank for footage. With an occational tutorial mixed in. And thats it ;)

I always loved getting below me264s with this place and blasting them with the turret. Within 1km was the sweet spot and most of the time they never reacted to me being there! It's also really decent to take at ground RB with those cannons and 3 bomb drops too.

That Tiffy snipe was delicious, mate. Facing P-61 with competent player is annoying like hell, there is always some ace up in his sleeve, so you are definitely right with your thought of specializing with this plane.
Btw, in my real life I´ve recently met a Dutch with the very same voice you actually have, even the same way of pronunciation.. There were other people in the meeting anyway, so I did not bothered him with inconvenient question "is it you?" :D But hey man, at least in terms of voice, you have a twin in your country :))

The only time I remember seeing one is when a p-61 tried to dogfight me (flying the zero)
Idk if it's something with my settings or if it's something that got changed in an update but the gunners rarely seem like they want to shoot.....until I'm riddled with holes or dead (and that's with crew skills pretty high up there)

Really cool aircraft but can be hard to make it work in the fighter-heavy war thunder of today, with much fewer bombers to prey on.
i found that on most maps its quite possible to do well. That airstart gives a good starting position.

they've introduced smaller maps, and have shortened the matchtime to 25:00 2 years ago.

Question: on the wiki it says that the "Engines are able to cool down very fast".
Now as I could see, the engines were always overheating for me (yellow).
Does the mechanic work differently for this aircraft or how much time do you have before your engine gets damaged?
Gaijin's statcards are often incorrect. These engines do not cool of fast. You need to keep it out of the red.

Bring the bombs. This plane doesn't have excess drag when empty so no point not having them.
Kill bases and fight other planes after. The 500kgs guarantee one base but more maneuverable, the 1000kgs kill more than 2 bases if lucky.
In AB air, the US 4.0 lineup is my moneymaker. Start with 2 p47s, straight to targets for first kill, mop up soft targets. Finish with p61 for the tanks and pillboxes and voila, mission Maker plus thunderer. Easily.
two things on that: 1. in ARB you dont get the bombing reticle, so you'll miss the base from 5k alt 19/20 times or more. You'd have to be very low alt to get them to hit the base. 2. 4x 1000 lbs bombs severely hits on the climbrate, which makes it harder to get into the right position to dominate the high skies.
@@jengar6258 Hey Jengar! First of all happy new year:) new sub here. you are ofc right. Just saying bombers perspective, especially in arcade where this is a total beast and finisher of games. Only just learning RB and can't help not bomb with this payload, power, climb and brake. In RB (imho) much better with 500kg bomb so far yes

Hey Jenger did you ever saw a waist gunner of any bomber planes actually hit something? Most plane I fly is the f4u 1a(USMC), f4u-4 and the 4B. In airbattle the f4u 4B has a climbrate of 4500 feet per min yet a lot of plane can match it. Love the 20mm gun on all US plane, the p 61 has 4 of them with 200 bullet. 3 years ago I followed your rank 1 guide and now I made it to rank 4. Was going to grind the British untill someone wrecked my War thunder account not allowing me to play. That person didn't expect me to throw him across the hall. Jenger should I just play Mobile Legend Bang bang with my friends in Mobile or should I start grinding again in war thunder. My cousin and me uses his father's youtube account for now until we get our own. He said he will start playing war thunder with the name Samuel Wright as the US. He is a insane grinders and once he a PC from our grandparents. He will reach rank 4 in year.

I was confused until you started talking about MLBB, then I realized it was a auto-typer.
I was asking him if I should start playing war thunder again from scratch or play MLBB with my friends. I lost my account but I am trying to get it back since what I already had was a pain to grind. I almost got spitfire mk 9 until I lost it.
