I loved your point about watching weaker or worse teams. Makes sense because a certain amount of the pro's ability is because their team helps them out. On weaker or amateur teams a CM cannot always rely on the team to understand positioning, space and off the ball movement.
Exactly thanks for appreciating that point because that's the most important aspect to be successfull as a CM. Playing center mid for each team will vary on your teammate's abilities or your team's ability in general.

As a CM or DM, when i was playing 7-8 ppl amater games, the CM must be more all-arounded. box-2-box, especially focucsing on positioning for protecting the space before the CB. once your opponent has 2 skillful midfielder, it's hard for you when your wingers could not contract to center as a more DM to form defense chain in the mid field. then you would be total suffering in running up and down, left and right....... so a strong team of 7/8 ppl game must have at least 1 more strongt support from mid fielder beside the all-rounded CM......

I think that playing the number 9 is the most difficult especially in a team with not so good midfielders
I don’t think 9 is hard positionally. If you have bad CM s you could be very bored not getting the ball. You just gotta master off the ball runs.
