What a refreshing video about self care,it was good to hear about what you both do for yourselves and the fact that Juby was on camera sporting face masks and bikini waxing,when so many people just wouldn't dare,to worried about what they would look like. I have been using coconut oil for what seems like forever, I used to use lotions, but noticed that it always made my skin feel tight or if I shaved my legs and then put lotion on it would burn. Sugar scrubs are so nice too, mix coconut oil, sugar and then dried flower of choice, I use dried rose petals. Tea tree oil with rose water. Thanks for the links want to check some of them out!
A moisturizer that is SO easy- works well for my teenagers and I... rosehip oil with lavender essential oil and whichever essential oils work well with your skin. Add vitamin C or E oils if you wish. Rosemary Gladstar has a great cream recipe. When Azalea got the mustache and was laughing- her eyes were just like Justin’s! 💜🙏🏼
I love giving myself a good headmassage with a selfblend oil. It changes everytime but mostly coconut- and castoroil, sometimes with almond- or arganoil and some type of essential oil, but as I love sage, this is always part of the blend😉 I then leave the oil over night and wash my hair in the morning. I do this maybe once a month.😊 I loved your video, especially Zae doing her flossing. Couldn't help but laughing a bit, because she is so cute🤭❤

Totally adorable , all of you. Jubie, would you consider a less chemical- laden option for Azalea’s wipes? Baby skin drinks in whatever you put on it. I used to buy a stack of cheap washcloths and just use those soaked in Dr. Bronners and water. I would carry a plastic bag and toss the dirty ones in there, but there are zillions of homemade wipe recipes around. Also, if you get the unscented Dr. Bronners (we buy it by the gallon!) you can each add your own scent. We just used the smaller size bottles and refill them from the gallon, adding our own scent with essential oils.
Love all the natural products you use for self care! Unfortunately i do not make time to do this many self care routines for myself even tho i should. I just make sure i do simple things for myself . Two babies take up alot of my time!

I like jojoba oil on my feet and cuticles. It's the best thing I've tried to smooth my well used skin. I also have a pumice stone paddle that I really like. Also, I really enjoy having a little bit of dark chocolate every day. It's a nice little treat and an energy boost that I definitely think of as self care.
Loved this video! Good reminder that we don’t need a million products for self care. I use Dr B peppermint soap & scrubbie gloves in the shower. I actually stopped doing the armpits this year when I realized at 62 hair slows down😂. If you guys think of anything else/find different products, a part 2 would be cool. Stay awesome!!!

Definitely gonna look into that charcoal deo that Juby uses cz the my pits are picky with natural deodorants. I love to soak my feet in a warm water/apple cider vinegar mixture every evening then apply a natural magnesium lotion to em. Helps me sleep more peacefully. ☺️ If you wana check out an all natural lotion for the dry skin in the winter, I love to use the “skin healer” from poofy organics. I love using Dr B too and I have recently switched to their bar because I feel it doesn’t dry me out like the liquid does. Especially on my hands as I wash them A LOT. I also used the liquid on my dreads but found it feels like it leaves lots of build up. I feel like I was washing wrong but I for sure was rinsing out everything
Maybe you have hard water? I can't use Castile on my locks for that reason which is why I stick with baking soda and an acv rinse. It built up white gunk and took a ton of soaking to get it out haha lesson learned. On your hands bit, have you tried the Mrs Meyers hand soaps? They're made with olive oil and it made a huge difference for me especially once I started using the best moisturizer ever (ancient Greek remedy)
Such great advice...and I love the oils!!! One of the best things I've ever done for my teeth is oil pulling!! Sunflower oil is the best! Place a tablespoon of sunflower oil in your mouth very first thing in the morning (before eating and drinking) and slowly pull in and out between your teeth for twenty minutes then spit into garbage. Then rinse and gargle several times with salt water...then floss and brush. Takes a bit to get used to doing this routine, but it whitens your teeth something crazy and clears out your sinuses!! Google oil pulling...it will explain better. Love your videos here in Hickory, NC!
Another great self care tip is a lymphatic drainage massage, or just any facial massages to keep the skin toned and youthful. I love watching different ones on youtube and then just finding an oil and copying them. I always feel so invigorated after it. Especially with the lymph draining behind the ears and on the chest.
I haven't shaved in about five years, I trim with scissors and that's it. I chose to quit shaving (and brushing my hair) because my entire youth was consumed by feminine stereotypes handed down to me. (I was a model and they wanted "normal" so I continued even after the urge of that strange ritual left me) I was sick of using razors, wasting my time to look prepubescent and still dont see why we do it to begin with haha fun fact: I met my husband within 6 months of finally quitting for good and he looves it :P

Loved the look of your toothbrushes & had to place an order via your link after seeing a dentist's review. I also felt like I couldn't live w/ out their PEZ-esque chewing gum dispenser. Not a fan of fluoride, so will see if I can get just the brush heads/batteries sans toothpaste delivered regularly. Btw, after mentioning that you have a cavity every time you go to the dentist even after brushing 2x a day, isn't exactly a good endorsement, just sayin'... I use to do sugaring. It is less painful than the braun/epilady device and waxing. They gave me ingrown hairs. The sugaring did not. That's right Juby, Keep ALL your options open.
I found that I seemed to be going through my moisturiser at a much faster rate than usual - until I caught my husband using it. He had never moisturised, just washed, shaved and a splash of aftershave on work days. I bought him his own moisturiser and his skin is so much better, ingrown hairs are a rarity now plus he stopped using aftershave and switched to a cologne instead. He has now retired and looks great for someone fast approaching 70

I think clipping nails is not selfcare I mean you have to do it otherwise it hurts. I also love Foam and washing my face in the morning. And I do yoga everyday even if it is just for 10 minutes and walking every day. I also keep my flat nice and clean! Recently i heard from a holistic dentist not to put the normal plastic brushes in your mouth, so I found a toothbrush made out of regrowing materials and I love it, it feels so much more humble in my mouth that I even brush longer and like to use it, will also go for a meeswack stick! P.s. love your dreads justin and love your skin juby looks like cocoa butter!
Honey mask for your face is a beautiful healing treat for the skin, either straight on with fingers and then wash off after 15 mins or mix it with coconut oil as a cleanser , it brightens and heals x

Y’all respond to almost all my comments and now seeing this video after my last comment, I felt heard 🙌🏻 I had to stop using dr. B... it leaves my hair feeling tacky, I’m currently using dolly locks shampoo bar but I’m not thrilled with it. and I’ve been fighting body acne and I thought it would help but didn’t... I’m trying African black soap... wish me luck. My scalp has been so itchy and dry since starting my dreads... so far I’ve tried tea tree oil with witch hazel or the dolly locks conditioning oil... no relief yet. :( I need more self care as a momma and wife. I always buy myself last... I always shower last or takes days. My skin looks awful and tired. Trying to learn that taking care of myself is taking care of my family. I brush my teeth with activated charcoal twice a week, makes my mouth feel so clean and gets rid of coffee and tea stains. Brush with toothpaste after to get the grit off.

y'all should try goats milk products with oatmeal or not just a preference I buy from Aja's on Etsy I love all her shampoo's, conditioner's and lotions soaps all of it and she use's essential oils which I love. Making your own deodorant is very cheap and sustainable! You save a lot of money. Not packing for shipping, packaging, etc. You can make it to your own constituency and smell!

I love to soak my feet in a warm water/apple cider vinegar mixture every evening then apply a natural magnesium lotion to em. Helps me sleep more peacefully. ☺️ If you wana check out an all natural lotion for the dry skin in the winter, I love to use the “skin healer” from poofy organics. I love using Dr B too and I have recently switched to their bar because I feel it doesn’t dry me out like the liquid does. Especially on my hands as I wash them A LOT. I also used the liquid on my dreads but found it feels like it leaves lots of build up. I feel like I was washing wrong but I for sure was rinsing out everything
Maybe you have hard water? I can't use Castile on my locks for that reason which is why I stick with baking soda and an acv rinse. It built up white gunk and took a ton of soaking to get it out haha lesson learned. On your hands bit, have you tried the Mrs Meyers hand soaps? They're made with olive oil and it made a huge difference for me especially once I started using the best moisturizer ever (ancient Greek remedy)

Such great advice...and I love the oils!!!
One of the best things I've ever done for my teeth is oil pulling!! Sunflower oil is the best! Place a tablespoon of sunflower oil in your mouth very first thing in the morning (before eating and drinking) and slowly pull in and out between your teeth for twenty minutes then spit into garbage. Then rinse and gargle several times with salt water...then floss and brush. Takes a bit to get used to doing this routine, but it whitens your teeth something crazy and clears out your sinuses!! Google oil pulling...it will explain better.

Another great self care tip is a lymphatic drainage massage, or just any facial massages to keep the skin toned and youthful. I love watching different ones on youtube and then just finding an oil and copying them. I always feel so invigorated after it. Especially with the lymph draining behind the ears and on the chest.

I haven't shaved in about five years, I trim with scissors and that's it. I chose to quit shaving (and brushing my hair) because my entire youth was consumed by feminine stereotypes handed down to me. (I was a model and they wanted "normal" so I continued even after the urge of that strange ritual left me) I was sick of using razors, wasting my time to look prepubescent and still dont see why we do it to begin with haha fun fact: I met my husband within 6 months of finally quitting for good and he looves it :P

Loved the look of your toothbrushes & had to place an order via your link after seeing a dentist's review. I also felt like I couldn't live w/ out their PEZ-esque chewing gum dispenser. Not a fan of fluoride, so will see if I can get just the brush heads/batteries sans toothpaste delivered regularly. Btw, after mentioning that you have a cavity every time you go to the dentist even after brushing 2x a day, isn't exactly a good endorsement, just sayin'... I use to do sugaring. It is less painful than the braun/epilady device and waxing. They gave me ingrown hairs. The sugaring did not.

I found that I seemed to be going through my moisturiser at a much faster rate than usual - until I caught my husband using it. He had never moisturised, just washed, shaved and a splash of aftershave on work days. I bought him his own moisturiser and his skin is so much better, ingrown hairs are a rarity now plus he stopped using aftershave and switched to a cologne instead. He has now retired and looks great for someone fast approaching 70

I think clipping nails is not selfcare I mean you have to do it otherwise it hurts. I also love Foam and washing my face in the morning. And I do yoga everyday even if it is just for 10 minutes and walking every day. I also keep my flat nice and clean!
Recently i heard from a holistic dentist not to put the normal plastic brushes in your mouth, so I found a toothbrush made out of regrowing materials and I love it, it feels so much more humble in my mouth that I even brush longer and like to use it, will also go for a meeswack stick!

I had to stop using dr. B... it leaves my hair feeling tacky, I’m currently using dolly locks shampoo bar but I’m not thrilled with it. and I’ve been fighting body acne and I thought it would help but didn’t... I’m trying African black soap... wish me luck.
My scalp has been so itchy and dry since starting my dreads... so far I’ve tried tea tree oil with witch hazel or the dolly locks conditioning oil... no relief yet. :(

I brush my teeth with activated charcoal twice a week, makes my mouth feel so clean and gets rid of coffee and tea stains. Brush with toothpaste after to get the grit off.

y'all should try goats milk products with oatmeal or not just a preference I buy from Aja's on Etsy I love all her shampoo's, conditioner's and lotions soaps all of it and she use's essential oils which I love.
