Saw an MC20 as I was driving the other day and wow did it look beautiful in the flesh. Definitely felt special.
Never thought I’d pick a modern Maserati over a McLaren but I’d take the MC20 over the Atura

@@robertpawley5715 it still looks very cheap 😒 other cars at the same prices have a better looking interior plus the drive select dial on the automatic is laggy af aswell.

Eddie. Best MC20 Cielo review I have seen.
Owning one, I kinda like simplistic interior. The Matte CF and leather is top notch.
The lack of physical buttons is a bit annoying but not a deap breaker as the shifters are CF and you use those every few seconds so that is more important. Also the steering feel to road and the soft touch and CF actual grips of wheel are great. The R8 GT Inhad paddles were so awful it felt like driving a toy to shift and was horrible. MC20 feels proper and the see through hard top convertible is amazing. Opens up cabin w light and looks better that coupe w better lines. This car is way under rated. I have been though 7 super cars in 5 years and this is my favorite. And because luxury car maket has tanked, it may be my last one for a while. No more driving one for free:) until this year you could buy a car and drive 6 months and sell for same price....I think I am eating 70K already if I were to sell.my MC20. But that is not unique to Maserati. All cars over 300K are tanking.

A 600LT is still $100k+ more also. Ferrari is more expensive as well. Its priced about where the R8 was maybe little more. Can't beat the styling imo, the MC20 is fantastic and was EVOs car of the year in 2022 to the shock of many.
Valid. 600LT prices used are getting really interesting now tho! The MC20 is absolutely an exciting experience.
How does it compare to your Z06? This is definitely more expensive but I want to know your opinion if the price difference is worth it.

Beautiful rear. Overall though, im taking the R8 RWS all day (NA V10, more beautiful imo, and at damn near half the price)

The market has historically done a good job correcting Maserati pricing on the second hand market. Was a bit surprised at first but the MC20 was corrected as well. These suffer MASSIVE depreciation compared to other relative supercars in its class.

I agree with you for 150 thousand is a dream car . Two questions better car this used or Z06 new ? Second question this or the new Aston Martin Vantage which of the two is a more beautiful car ?
I have a MC20 Cielo. Unfortunately I bought new at MSRP when they were 50K over and now eating depreciation. I have Z06 in production and have a regular C8. Z06 looks slightly better but it is a corvette. You may be able to get a coupe for 160 soon, but cielo probably won't dip below 200 IMO. 220K w CF pack.
Its amazing looking and will always be rare. If u want a better engine and sound then vette. If u want to be the only one in town w a supercar, MC20. People will think u spend iver 500K. The car looks that good. And get a unique color. I got digital mint...satin pearl green/blue changes w light. Amazing
I agree with you I have a C8 myself rapid blue with about 20 thousand dollars in after market stuff carbon fiber everywhere, HRE wheels and AWE exhaust. I drove the MC20 this weekend and is gorgeous love it , one thing I didn’t like was the brakes . How do you like the brakes in your car ?
Another thing I noticed that I forgot to mention was this car definitely needs PPF because it trows Little Rock’s on the side by the door the whole time your driving .

Imo all convertibles should be hardtops the soft tops are always ugly like it’s missing a chromosome

Beautiful exterior design. That said, the interior materials are cheap, the Stellantis parts bin was clearly raided. It's way too expensive at $250,000+. I could see this being a great deal at $120,000, which it will be in two years or so, as like all modern Maseratis, the MC-12 excepted the value on this will sink like a stone.
The people that want this car also want a Lambo, McLaren or Ferrari. However, the don't have the financials to finance the others nor will there ever be lease specials and dealer discounts for them. This is a car that will appeal to the TikTok, influencer crowd, rappers, etc. Maseratis are no longer more plush Ferraris, they are really really expensive Dodges.

@@user-io4sr7vg1v A product is worth what the market will pay for it. You could take a MVMT watch, plate it in 18K gold and put diamonds on it, the thing wouldn't be worth more than what the scrap value of the gold is and the resale value of the diamonds, which is less than you paid for it. Yes, the carbon fiber is worth something, but it can't make up for the downsides of the car/brand, nor can it change the fact that barring anything unforseen, the value on this will sink like a stone the moment you drive it off the lot.
Modern Maseratis are basically a great example of everything wrong with the automotive industry today. They are overpriced with horrible build quality and require ridiculously expensive servicing. They make throwaway cars for a society that is all about consuming the latest and greatest.
Avg. car price is $50k these days so $120k is just a regular car, fully loaded...more or less.
