epic mate. Thansk for sharing. How have you found stability, I know longer is stable but 16 or 17 wide how do you go in rough conditions? Looks epic and that 685 is such a fun wing.
Hey mate! I dont struggle at all with the width in rough waters, but I also have adapted to very narrow boards a while back. I think you'd be surprised how quick the learning curve is to transition over to narrower boards. The length gives a lot of stability in rough waters and keeping the board moving forward also helps with the stability.
I actually make it myself. It is a Kaohi calf strap, and then I use a spear gun hand rubber to create the stretchy part and then a loop off the end to attach to the board. I hated the waist belts as they were heavy and always get stuck under your legs trying to get back onto the board, and the regular ankle or calf straps always slap on the board when you're pumping. This just stays taught with no slapping when you're riding.... TBH I saw Kai Lenny had one similar so I just copied and love it haha. Send me a message on insta if you want pics or anything
@@OskarJohansson1 nice, looks epic. We are chatting about how to make them in the progression forum if you want to throw some pics up. Someone has the same concept but with a braided dyneema outer to protect it and make sure it can't snap!
