shadow map seems to bounce the light a bit more on surfaces while future doesnt
Shadowmap is good for mobile players that don't have the best device to render the lighting properly like in future
Shadow map is quite literally a shadow map,It's just changing the brightness of textures around light
Both doesnt calculate light bounces
@Zacus57 you cant do futuristic lighting on mobile anyways.
tip: check "Shadows" on your light's properties

Always thought if we could merge these two different lighting methods into one and have more control over voxel. This would be great 🤤

If you are making a horror game - use Future Technology. If you are making normal game - You can use both technologies (Shadow Map or Future)
I just want really good graphics that look really realistic and good

why are my Shadow map and Future the same?
Most likely because your graphics settings are too low
Did you set your quality level to low? set it to 21 for like best graphics

Future is much darker
Yeah, but more realistic. You can change the brightness in the lighting ambient color and brightness value

@@Zacus57 It doesn't look realistic, it looks like sharp 90's point light shadows, IRL there are no such thing as point lights.
