Looks like a beverage truck frame with the steps in it. I used to own a F800 that was converted by Mormon Herrington to 4wd and they cut the frame and stacked the front on the rear section and installed a “Z-plate” to bolt it together. The door handles were six feet of the ground. 😂😂
Not a welder but a welding instructor (often already)?! 😁 ;-) 😋😜👅😇😘 2) This is definitely a very interesting build. Driving this cabover will be sooo much quieter and more pleasant with the engine behind the cab. Best regards, luck and especially health to all involved people.
just have to figure out how to mount mower where you can cut the grass as well great video thanks for sharing. what you are doing is a wonderful thing helping so many learn hands on great idea
Hi John as long as you may know or remember cause I’m old a fire truck manufacturer failed because they did not allow flex and all their trucks fractured in various places including the compartments. Just an fyi. In the early 50s equipment was built. Trucks had style the frames were bent and worked. Now they are cheap and straight . I am sad.
e also posses common sense and years of experience modifying trucks and frames for years without any failures of any kind. I think that carries some weight here.
You would hate me then 😂 only thing i use is the hood/helmet no gloves no sleeves sometimes in shorts. Take my guards of the grinder most the time no safety classes. I was hoping to kick the bucket before i got to 20 I'm 41 now so I've been ready to go for a wail lol.

Nice welding instructions
I am interested in seeing how you put it together if your going to use any gussets on that frame or how your going to do it.
Hell or sir, are you from North Carolina? I was curious about the price to have an axle moved forward and the frame shortened on an Ex-uhaul truck

He's got a welder and a cutting torch. That makes him a professional engineer. (in his own mind)

All that math would make my head hurt....😅
