I've got my 2003 F-250 Super Duty 7.3 Crew Cab with 121k miles for sale . I bought it new and I don't need a heavy duty truck any more so it's for sale . Arkansas rust free truck . It's been great and I've pulled some good loads with it . There comes a time when a man decides to retire while he can still do a little lighter work and not hurt himself . 75 years old is my cut off age . Great video Mr. & Mrs. J.C.Smith .
I also have a bit of a rare bird. 2002 F550 zf6 4x4. Never seen another 6 speed 4x4 for sale in my area (north of Minneapolis MN) got it from the original owner a coupe years back. It’s been a great truck
Great video Mr & Mrs J.C.Smith never hurts to clean up your scrap iron with your F450 truck that you've sold. Looking forward to your next video stay safe Mr & Mrs J.C.Smith.
I have 3 trucks with that engine in them that will all start on their own without block heaters even down to 0. I feel like a truck like that would suit me well. It's old and rusty, needs some work but nothing serious. Being a cab chassis 4x4 flatbed with a manual makes it even better for a strict work truck
thinning out the fleet JC. send F450 down the road, regain some space cleaning out scrap. cant save everything forever. the scrappers here wouldve creamed themselves with that load of heavy steel
I see those 3 car bungee cord loads often on i20 here in Ms. Best/worst was a single chain wrapped around 3 cars and an old c10 on a 21 foot car trailer. Of course no dot or highway patrol in sight. Cars were partially crushed by a loader or something
What's the story on the white, extra cab, F250, 6.2L gas engine you reacquired from your brother? I the last I recall, you were doing brakes/wheel bearings; it seems to have gone into hibernation.
This is just a dream but I’d love to have the drivetrain out of that F 450 remove the transfer case and convert it into a 2wd transmission with the right housing and swapped it in 70’s F150 truck 2wd it would get decent fuel mileage.
You might wanna be careful messing with the plasma cutter consumables without gloves while it's still on . I work at a fab shop and I've seen multiple people burn their hands doing that . Just something to keep in mind.
Cutting items down to more manageable sizes I get. But how does that increase the value? You are paid by the weight. It weights the same if it’s a large or a smaller size, and actually it weighs less after you cut it since you are burning some of the material away.
Generally you get more per ton for shorter pieces. If time is not that critical I put shears on my track hoe and cut up columns and trusses from buildings I demo in short pieces before removing from a site. If in a rush no make them fit in the trailer and off they go. Same with sorting get more per ton for heavy decking than old conduit but in a hurry they go together.
I always find out what kinda soda the guy running the magnet likes and I would set it on the side of my truck bed and he always got me out of there efficiently

Dawn dishwashing detergent works great on diesel smells with a fabric sheet in the dryer.

I can’t be the only one thinking of hooking that 50 gallon tank to the little Vevor heater and having a 2 month run time per tank.
Nice truck

When you send something to the scraper, are you working towards the most money for yourself, or what the scraper wants?
by cutting it up i can use this truck instead of a bigger one and it pays more per ton.
Do you wanna sell the PTO box? They pulled out of that truck out of the interior the high idle?
Old school throw back video. Yeah! Whens the next mini truck video?
well.......things are in the works.
Mr. & Mrs. Smith i lik
How many miles that 450 have 161k?

Prepared steel is worth more per ton

its called "prepared". it means they can sent it to the shredder without having their guys cut it up. therefore, it pays a little more per ton.
@ thank you, I did not know that.
