Man Lordknight I dont know how you manage to do the air combos as fluently as you do. Definitely shows the amount of time and effort you put into the game. They feel finicky and just really intensive on my overclocked brain. However I love the character too much to give up. Thanks for the videos man, your a great content creator. And thanks to the people at Beastcoast for hosting this vid!

i know this vid is mad old now, but i've been experimenting on the heavies! specifically the combo where you're returning to the ground to get a wall break w super.
in the vid LK does
236H > c.S > jc > j.S > j.D > jc > j.S > (delay) j.K > j.D > airdash > j.K > j236H > 632146H
i found it's a little more consistent if you trade the second j.S for another j.K. it keeps the opponent a little closer to the ground when they wall splat. sometimes doing the above combo, the last hit of winger will whiff bc they're too high up on the wall. trading that one move lets you get the winger (And maybe even a septem, haven't tested) more consistently, since they stick closer to the ground. so to recap! slight edit i made looks like this
236H > c.S > jc > j.S > j.D > jc > j.K > (delay) j.K > j.D > airdash > j.K > j236H > 632146H

this video is good but i wanna see a more in depth / advanced millia guide. most of these combos have been covered in a lot of other videos including the guide on LKs channel, although some of the super combos he showed are pretty useful and new to me. i didn’t really learn what situations to be using these in though - i think a video on millias neutral game would be really useful for people who have just started guilty gear and are playing millia.
2:28 , if you're having problems doing the short dash + 236HS like I did, what worked best for me was 2366 HS.
dash macro also helps a lot
@@PauloQueirozJS I was playing around with the dash macro and found that it works better than the 2366 HS method. You just have to be fast with the 236+DashButton+HS and I think there is some semi specific timing involved too. Still more consistent than 2366 HS.
I love milias aircombos because I got my start in DBFZ and she feels almost exactly like a super version of 18
Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong cause I'm litterally floor 9 and still can't do the air combo after the dust she won't attack against and if I don't use dust she attacks against but the opponent is too low to the ground to continue the combo
@@trinitygsaint2383 when LK did the "s d s s d air dash" combo at 2:58 the full notation for it is j.S > j.D > JC (jump cancel) j.S > DL (delay) j.S > j.D > AD (air dash) so i'm guesing that you get to j.S > j.D but don't jump cancel for the next set of moves

I cannot do that S, D, S, S,D aircombo
The first "S" that launches them up, helps if youre right under them so u stay closer once youre in the air. First three hits (SDS) are right after each other (no delay). so it goes as follows.
(Jump Upright S > D > Jump Upright S > S,D, dash and continue air combo) If you stayed close to them with the ground S launch, it'll be easier to hit them after the air dash which really helped me nail it every time. a tad far when u S launch and theyll be too far once youre in the air (from my experience)
im sure you know by now since its been a whole month but you havee to micro dash to be right under them before the CS

since it's a soft knockdown and you *should* recover quicker you can mix a variety of ways? I'm new to the character so I dont know fully what you can do
For some reason I can't get 6:16 to work when I do 2K after the disc. When I get 3 hits including the kick with the disc the oponnent does't get high enough after my c.S to start the air combo. If I take out thr 2K then I can do it. Is it a timing issue with the 2K, or what fo you think? Thanks in advance for any help :)
EDIT: I figured it out. The 2K must happen immideatily when you land. Buffering it right before you land helps, and timing the dash is crucial too.

At 5:11 does one have to delay the jumping dust or the first jumping slash? I only managed to do the combo once and I cannot figure out what I'm doing wrong.

I've been using this to learn combos as I improve, and I encounter an issue. On the combo to bring them back down, I can only ever get fS when I touch the ground. The combo knocks them too far.
I have lost 90 of my last 100 ranked matches with Millia...when does that stop?

Any tips for the standard combo off of disk you showed? My opponent keeps being too high or far for bad moon even though I'm using all S's
i have the same problem
if u delay bad moon a bit, it'll hit but you wont get wall break because of it not hitting enough
still trying to figure out how to stay close enough in air so everything hits
@@MrFutte7 If you stayed close to them with the ground S launch, like they go straight up along her hair and not outwards it'll be easier to hit them in the air because youll stay close. helped me nail it every time. For the bad moon part, you do have to delay it and i guess wait till Millia reaches the peak height of her last kick and then go into moon to get most hits
There is usually a slight delay in badmoona after the last airdash string in the combi
3:12 I can't seem to make them wallbreak after the bad moon. I have to use j.HS in place of j.S->j.D in order for wall to break which is probably less damage. What am I doing wrong here?
I'm just spitballing here, but it might be that wallbreaks from bad moon only work if the enemy hits the wall on the ground and not in the air
@@SnappySanad This seems to be the case for me. I'm guessing the point of the falling j.S is to get them closer to the ground so you can bad moon them to the ground before it touches the wall. I'm able to wallsplat them consistently from one corner to the other. Honestly I'd rather not wallsplat so I can keep corner pressure
i think if you delay bad moon for just a bit after the final j.D, then it should wall splat

how does he combo off 2k disc? everytime i hit 2k disc the enemy wont fly high enough for me to hit c.s. into air combo
you can try a faster button or just do ground combo route.
If you dash up fast enough it should work
Hit 2K faster, try to buffer it just before you touch the ground so it comes out as fast as possible
Hit 2k just before you hit the ground, you'll be a lot more consistent in no time
