For the REAL Millia mains who ACTUALLY PLAY STRIVE, any thoughts in the new move? Think that it will help her a lot or will not make a difference?
Like Kona said, we have no frame data. But move seems like simplified hairpin, hope it will give us hkd from air.
It's definitely gonna help her mixes cuz now people have to be more afraid of strike throw cuz you can bait a response at any point. I can envision a couple of really ambiguous RC high low sequence as well

goldlewis has fluctuated between being mid or s-tier depending on the tools given to him to win neutral.
ky was largely considered to be low-tier on release but recently has just barely made his way to S tier
sin, in two patches, has gone from the worst character in the game, to a contender for the best character in the game.
may, who was once considered to be a top 5 character, was hit pretty hard in season 3 and while she is still a good character, hasn't seen any meaningful results lately

happy chaos has definitely dropped at least 1 full tier since his recent nerfs.
besides these examples, while i agree that characters like leo and nago have consistently stayed S tier throughout the majority of the game's lifespan, there has also been a lot of reshuffling within the top 5 itself. there are constantly characters who go from being top 2 to top 4 for example depending on the meta.
I think the fact that you can mirazh cancel it will make it very confusing to deal with. It looks like it might not be super safe on block. It wall bounces which will give her new combo routes. We'll have to wait and see but I'm very interested.
As long as my counting isn’t off, it should be frame 24. Frame data aside, it makes mirazh and shaker scarier because of its “low” crush, so that helps pressure. The wallbounce should give Millia better routing and more damage, which is a nice bonus. The biggest thing though, is that it replaces iad back -> button. Millia’s iad back is 6 frames slower than the standard one, so she didn’t have a great retreating hitbox. Also, being a special move means she gets meter for retreating. I think it’s great all around (still wish it was command grab).
Is the new Millia move a knockdown? That would be helpful if it is...

Well, if they wouldn’t rc the super, then they would have been punished. The main reason why milia lost here is because Bridget took a correct guess with the dp after super

I think what Walter did was good cuz even after wall break HKD bridget can still DP RC and get back her turn so why not play funny neutral 😊
deadly serious. To all the Millia players who find her bad, (I'm not kidding you, it's a real question) how would you fix her?
I don’t think she’s bad per say, but here:
1) sped up air backdash. Her current one has the same frame data as forward airdash, which is oddly makes it slower than most backdashes. Trying to cover ur retreat with a hitbox is slow (except the new move fixes this).
2) better s disc. You can backdash os 2d -> 236s and punish her (why). So u use shaker, but some hits whiff making it punishable. Shave off a couple of frames to be safer. Added benefit of giving her a meaty on hit, but mostly to improve her block pressure (which again the new move fixes).
3) faster bad moon. You can fuzzy bad moon. Why? Off of c.S(2) it will whiff on fd, but that’s the only way to delay cancel 2S. If u use 5k you can get grabbed. Ur not seeing it anyways, so take away 2 frames and make her baiken.
4) bigger hitbox on j.k. I want f-shiki
5) air winger. Super wall break off air combos. It can be shit in every other aspect as long as it breaks wall.
6) make her teleport. Chipp used to do it, so Millia should take it from him.
7) install. Millia has claws and wings, so she should dragon install.
8) install-kill. She’s an assassin, so she should stab and kill you.
9) summon zato. Zato is sworn to protect her, so where is he?
