Last week I was playing with acrylic paint and brushstrokes and sharing ideas on how to get the most out of your mark making. This week I have swapped to watercolor! And after recording this I realised that not all the colors I am using came from the Decadent pies set. So the pink I am using is actually form the Tropicals set but I liked how it works with the Decadent Pies colors so put it in the tin then forgot that it was an addition!

I’m loving the 2 and 3rd. I love circles and just the placement speaks to me and the 3rd because of the blending of colors and the water blooms.

I like the second piece most. I like the white space and the contrast with the dark paint and the white space. I love this hint of pink too.

I thought I would like the 1st one the best until I saw all 3. I like 1 & 3 and then 2. I love doing lines in painting. Also, it is very satisfying to me watching the water flow and watching embossing powders melt. TFS Kim. 🤗 Always love watching your vids. 💕💕💕

I'm brand new to painting and wanted to do sort of sort of blocky/spattery looking abstract shapes under my ink drawings for just a pop of color, and I didn't know how to get the effect I wanted. I've tried and done some cool looking pictures, but not what I was going for. As soon as you started your second painting I realized what I was doing wrong and how to do it! Thank you SO MUCH!!!!

This was a great video, very informative. First of all....who doesn't like blooms! (Sounds crazy to me....lol) my favorite is the 3rd one. Now, I mean this as a compliment, but the 2nd one gives me anxiety. I know it may not sound like a compliment, but it brought out a lot of emotion in me...it was very strange, it just makes me anxious. I think that is the goal of every artist, is to spark emotion in the viewer, am i wrong?

I like all 3 for differant reasons. it seem like you went from structure to a little structure to no structure with the paintings. i hope my idea is getting across. the colors are amazing and thank you for the video
