i am so in love with your oxford vlogs, the vibes, you, the editing and the music!!! the cafe studying segment paired with the la la la gilmore girls soundtrack is so perfect
The intro : immaculate. The epiphanies : relatable on a soul level. The Oxford content : motivational. The Lunar New year celebration : hewr warming. Love the video. I'm so humbled and grateful to be a small part of witnessing your evolution.
I litreally cried for the cultural identity part... I was also exchanging in the UK at the same time and did not have a chance to spend the new year with my family, but I felt deeply blessed by my culture as it reunited all people living in a foreign country and sent us love.
I'm a student studying politics and IR in Cambridge and I love your vlogs!! I always watch them when I lack the motivation to study. Your way of working hard & enjoying life puts me in the mood to strive a bit more❤
i discovered you a couple days ago, and i just want to say thank you. You make me feel better with myself and you are my new comfort zone. I love the silence and the instrumental music you always put in your videos, perfection. Thank you for existing, x
Totally understand the feeling of it being the end of the world! Brings back university memories! Try not to get too stressed out. I did this, I pushed myself too far and actually landed up with an autoimmune disease due to extreme stress. I look back and wish I hadn’t reacted the way I did.
the speech at the end about chinese families showing love hit home for me too... love your videos and your way of thinking jing! id love to see a study tips video one day
Hearthwarming video as always. Just wanted to give you an advise regarding the "quick food making", in case you keep doing it,...always, always prioritize your health, give yourself 30 minutes to nourish your body, or else you'll regret in the future. I've lived for almost a year with egg and cheese sandwiches 'case they were easy and quickly to make, but I ended up with bad results in my blood test, I function slower and it's hard to understand or keep my attention on my studies now. Do not take it for granted, take care of yourself with healthy food choices. Be wise and strong A huge hug from Argentina 💙
Wow that Library looks absolutely stunning ❤ I love seeing your life at Oxford it truly motivates me to continue to work hard, hope you’re doing well! 😊
I think its great that you stay so on top of your work. I'm in my last semester online and I watch your channel to help me push through the laziness. I'm opposite to you where I push things off until the last minute and it rarely works out like it used to in middle school hehe. Thanks for the motivation you provide me.
So nice seeing you back at Oxford! When you guys were singing 童话, I was singing along too lol. Your comments about Lunar New Year at the end were too relatable, I always feel as if you so eloquently put my thoughts and feelings into words. You're my favorite comfort UA-camr ❤❤❤
The rant about why are you reading all this is something you will carry all your life. Everybody at work will at some point think ‘why am I doing this ‘. 💰💰 of course …….
Love ur videos every time! My brother is also a visiting student at Oxford so I love getting to see a glimpse of his study abroad experience through your videos! Happy new year!
Happy Chinese New Year!! And OMG I cannot believe your school actually served everyone their own steamed fish! Such an authentic way of celebrating and the song Fairytale! Everything about the festivities captured in your CNY celebration is so nostalgic and similar from my own 😭 and it’s in London! Which I’ll be visiting this year :)
CNY is only for Chinese people who include all the New Year celebrations according to the lunar calendar of other countries say, if you say this on twitter, other countries without China will hate you because the new year according to the lunar calendar is not mandatory top in china
7:13 : I've started using your technique in regards to the required readings for my classes and it's really worked wonders. Thanks for the awesome tip, it really helps to "synthesize" the fondation/ideas/arguments of the authors.
i love your vlogs so much!! they're so aesthetic and inspire me to lead a calmer, more productive life :) ty for accompanying me on many late night study seshes
What you said during your stress rant is something I deeply relate to, whenever I have work to do as simple as an essay or coursework I always feel like if I don't complete it that's it, I'm doomed and as you phrase it that it's the end of the world. I feel like the grade I get in something as trivial as a class essay will determine my whole future. But that is totally normal and you will overcome it for sure xx
i visited oxford this weekend and went to all these places and the museums its so cool i can't believe how amazing it would be to study there. it's sad that i didn't see you. btw ur videos are amazing they give me so much motivation
You feel that it's the end of the world if you don't get the work done (nicely) because you care and you have standards, which is a good thing. You just gotta convert this kind of stress into motivation. I was like this as well back when I had to study for school. I couldn't tell myself to settle for a grade C. A method I used was to promise myself some gift once I got the work done nicely. It could be anything from a small purchase to a nice trip abroad. Regardless, you have to be loyal to yourself -- i.e. you gotta actually reward yourself once you're done. That's my idea of 'work/study-life' balance -- you work hard first, then you balance it off with a nice reward. Hope this helps! (:
The time when i thought to study but not in mood of studying ,but deeply i want to I just start youtube search jing and after some time i am on my table studying with my everything.. thanks jing
Loved seeing the lunar new year celebrations and seeing all the views of Oxford, from the Korean grocery to the mall to the college bar! Thank you for sharing!
From the first video I watched of yours, I was so hooked. Your editing is gorgeous and you are literally living my dream! I want to go to Oxford so bad!
I can really relate to the stress rant but in a different kind of way. I still stress about assignments and studying but I kinda got to a point that I manipulate myself to not starting until it is too late and am not able to do everything properly. It leads to failing classes, which is not the end of the world but after multiple times gets kinda embarrassing.
There is a Korean restaurant around city centre in oxford(? I think forgot where exactly) It's called bamboo Korean restaurant its sooooooooo good but a tiny bit expensive but u can get it on dilveroo
i love your videos so much!! as a person who lives in london and is indian my favourite indian places in london are all of these are halal since i'm muslim dishoom(very pricy but authentic and reminds my dad of mumbai when he was growing up there) masala zone(just chefs kiss, reminds me of travelling in rajasthan) farzi cafe(authentic and very good, for info there were irani/parsi cafes in mumbai started by persian zoroastrians who emigrated to india fleeing religious prosecution) i love your videos and they always have so comfy and wholesome vibe. you make exam stress easier(as a person with gcse's coming up) and i always feel refreshed and motivated after watching your videos
your videos gave me so much motivation, im living in a terrible country and AAA i love my country but the only thing i can do for it to get better is to study harder and the only way to be able to continue my way is to study in another country. so.. i just came to youtube for some motivations and i sat in my room and watched all ur videos :) you are AMAZING.
helllooo, im early I hope u see this but I just wanted to say im so proud of how far you've grown your channel in such a short amount of time. thank you for taking the time to post for us. 💗
Thanks for the video! As a recent graduate from the polsci department, it's interesting not just watching this aesthetic vlog but also to take a look at all of the text summaries (7:11)! Sorry for that, haha! It just reminds me how a couple of years ago, I was reading the same papers and books (Tilly, Mann, Lipset, Lijphart, Skocpol, Stepan & Linz, etc.) and doing similar style summaries!
I discovered your channel one month ago and I love the content : simple student life with a lot of good vibes ! As a french woman which loves gothic and victorian universe, I would so much like to visit London and Edimburg one day, so thank you so much because I can travel through your vlogs 😍 Even if I finished my studies 11 years ago now, I regret to have stopped to practise english (talking, writing). I can write some simple sentences but I am lost when I try to understand your comments during the vlog haha 😆 I miss some vocabulary to improve my skills ^^
Awweee we love our Jing getting sponsorships, way to go! It would be helpful for me to enhance my language vocabulary. 🥺❤️ I just charged my dead batt brain cells and motivation to study on this vlog LOL. Jing's oxford diaries >>
I reallly wanna go to oxford too and ur videos literally are so calming and are inspiring me (not trying to be cringe \) BUT I LOVE UR VIBE like PLEASE posting!!
As a Chinese watching this I have to say the Chinese food really isn't what I was expecting... Happy Lunar New Year Jing! What you said at the end of the video was so true... My Grandma ALWAYS dump me sooooo much food when I leave her house after the feast. Btw, my mom always tells me to not wash my hair at New Year's Day too lol
Huh!!😩...she is back with her addicting & refreshing vlogs....love to see your vlogs sis💗...they're like my energy drinks...tysm for posting your amazing videos...Love you so muchh♡♡♡

Your stress rant is so real... that's literally how I feel everyday, especially when I'm "not productive".
you have no idea how much you've helped me unknowingly and left suchha huge impact on me
Same ❤
As an Indian, I was happy to see you eating Indian food. Btw it's my first comment on your channel. Wish you success.
It's actually south Asian food. Most restaurants in the UK are run by Bangladeshis and Pakistanis.
@@rkbeg80 She went to Mowgli which is a chain restuarant. It’s the closest you’d get to “Indian” food tbh.
The part about how your family shows love differently made me cry 🥲 so beautiful

It looks like you’re attending Hogwarts. I love it. 🥺
Hey Jing, the fortune cookie also has Dutch on it so i can read it! It says: You are never too old to learn :) Loved the vlog by the way
9:20 the best indian food normally has mid furniture, they put their whole heart and soul into food that restaurant looks very fancy
Jing, could you make a video on reading techniques? I'd love reaching your reading level.
