I moved into a new room and decorated with a bunch of things from charity shops. after going out a bunch last week, I took this weekend to recover and spend some quality time by myself doing things I loveeee like reading, taking walks outside, and eating yummy food. if ur reading this, just a reminder that it's ok to take however much time u need away from the world and just catch up on urself :)

i love everything you said, especially the part “i cant possibly experience everything so i would rather experience myself” bcs i did too. last few years, it was hard to accept that some of my dreams aren’t meant for me. that it may take a long time or may be not at all. so instead i should focus on how to make myself happy. it made me healthier and even better. i learned a lot of things by loving myself. it is not a selfish thing to do, for me loving yourself is the start of being the best person ever.

The diary entry at the start was beautiful. I studied at uni in Bournemouth from 2017 to 2021 and I had such an altered perception before I went that I would also have a huge friend group and be out on the town all the time. Taking the time to almost get to know myself again was one of the best things I've ever done.
I applied to study a Masters yesterday just to prove to myself I can do it - if anyone reads this, never give up on your dreams - and always be the one star in the sky that shines in a different way
I feel so happy watching this. Someone had to say it. What we think will happen later in our life, might not happen and that is perfectly okay! Enjoying where we are, who we are is what true living is :)
Hey, friendly advice! I worked at a flower shop and I learned that flowers that are kept in a vase with water are better cut in diagonal rather than perpendicular so the flower can take in more water at once since the surface of absorption in greater. It will make them last longer if you cut them like so from time to time! :)

This is so relatable. Who I was as a teenager and how I thought I would be about socialising is light years away from the quiet homebody that I had become. Letting go of and identity that you clung onto so intensely can be the greatest gift of freedom to yourself.
I love watching your videos because it brings me back to my university days in England, 35 years ago. My children are grown now and I have grandchildren. The years go by fast, but it's lovely to go back down memory lane through your lens. So much remains the same and is so familiar. I can relive the sights, smells, and sounds through you. It’s so nice to see someone taking time for themselves and having a fun time being alone. I spent 99% of university alone, and although I enjoyed being alone, I never really cherished it and did cute stuff like this😭I feel like I need to reenter university again so I can do stuff like this and also try harder in my classes lol
randomly found your channel and pulled up this video. the first scene hit me and I burst into tears. thank you. it described me with the walking into a room and feeling inadequate and the weight of all the lives you’re not living and the things you’re not doing. my brother is 23, college has worked out well for him,he had $250 a month housing for 3 years, he has gotten internships and jobs, got a new car, just got married with an amazing remote job right off the bat

god i absolutely love your videos. i have them on whilst i’m studying because i cannot deal with absolute silence and yours are the most calming whilst also enabling me to focus primarily on my work, but also because they make me really excited for my future and uni! they especially motivate me since i’ll be going to Oxford in October, and it seems my excitement enables me to really study hard to ensure my dream. occasionally i’ll look up from my work and see the visuals, the sites in oxford, and i almost start crying. i am so so excited that i was able to get into my dream university, and i’m so so happy that you are able to find balance and acceptance in your life
