Being alone is scary, but can also be so fulfilling. I'm so grateful I got to start off my twenties by exploring Paris, eating so much good food, and even meeting a subscriber/new friend. Also thank you guys so much for 100k subscribers 🥺 I hope you have an amazing week :)

This video really made me emotional, I'm 17 turning 18 at the end of this month and I feel so overwhelmed with stepping into "adulthood" and the responsibilities that come with it. School is stressful, and balancing everything is hard. But I'm going to wait for the day when I'll be able to take as many solo trips as I want, be independent and just be happy to live in the moment. Thank you for being so inspiring.

God i loved this video soo much! I turned 21 today and to my surprise no one wished me, not a single wish even when i wish my friends. i dont have a lot of friends but the one i do i expected a small message atleast and this is 3rd year in a row no one did idk why... but this taught me one lesson today that only thing that matters and loves by all their heart is our family. my parents and my sister wished and danced with me and its so amazing that family loves us soo much. I hope everyone realizes this and even though some people may have very nice friends but family is something who will be by your side till the end no matter what.
This might be an unwanted comment but can I ask if they know your birthdate? I found that sometimes “friends” either don’t know, are not sure or just are too emerged in their own life problems that they forget. And I know it’s unfair if you remember their birthday. But what you could do is let them know the day or a few days before so it’s on their mind.
But if they actually know and choose not to wish you a happy birthday, then you’re absolutely right and I’m sorry it’s happened to you for 3 years. It means nothing and it’s a bit late but happy birthday to you ✨

I can’t even remember anymore how did I found this video because it made me sob all of the time. I’m turning 20 this year and I grew up thinking that if other people saw me doing things alone they would thought that I was anti-social or whatever, and you made me realize that it’s ok doing things alone, live in your own world… these days I’m struggling with being alone because of the summer break (everyone is out of town and most of my friends work 24/7) and your video encouraged me to go outside and do things by myself AND for myself. thank god I found your video because it felt like a coming of age movie.
I dread the time when i will go to university abroad. because i am scared to be alone and away from my family. The thought of being alone scared me a lot before, we're not always going to be with the people we are right now and that is completely normal, people come and go that's why is very important to learn how to do things by yourself and to love your own company. But now I've come to terms of doing things alone and not being scared to do them, sometimes it gets a little lonely and I cry a lot but I know that I have people who care for me and will always help me to get through hard times.
But of course smetimes it's ok to not be ok.
Honestly, I’m planning on going to college in the US and have started my applications. Back then I mostly just looked at the bright side of things but recently I’ve started to question lots of things; will I make friends, how will I stay connected with family, will I be able to cook on my own…etc. seeing this video on my suggestions made me realize that at some point, as you’ve mentioned, we’ll live in solitude for the latter parts of our lives, but the real important part of being in solitude is how we take it in ourselves.
Definitely freaked out about the concept of adulting but at the same time am excited for the new possibilities a new country can offer!

I’ve watched this multiple times and it comforted me since I spent my 20th bday this July by myself- I had just moved out from my family home for college across the world and i was so depressed about it. The ending gives me goosebumps every time I watch this. Thank you for sharing. It made me feel positive about my experience 🤎
I'm so glad that you've found a way to cope on your own!!! I went through a very similar situation when I got into an argument with my school friends and lost all of my confidence because of it. Over the summer break I lost contact with all of these "friends" and I was so worried that they were gossiping about me and I would go back to school the next year to find that everyone hated me. In my mind I made things seem so much worse than they actually were now that I look back. I ended up going back to school, a much more independent, confident, and overall happy person than ever. I even ended up making some friends and being a part of my amazing four person friend group. Never have I appreciated anyone more than these three girls, yet I find that I'm okay with the idea of being alone, whereas I used to be terrified of it. Ever since then I have been extremely socially anxious and always scared of what people think of me. It is comforting to think that even as friends come and go and sometimes I may be left alone, that I still have myself as a best friend. That is enough for me.
Anyways, I am so happy for you for reaching 100,000 subscribers!!! I hope these numbers grow lots in the days, weeks, months, and years to come. Happy twentieth by the way! You are such an amazing inspiration for me and so many more!!
