Made this tonight! It was one of the tastiest slow cooker meals I've ever made. I absolutely love your videos. You are such a joy to watch.

Made this last night, was a huge hit! my whole family loved it. I only had cream of mushroom and used maggi chicken flavor bouillon. put in with chops, potato, carrots, onion and garlic. the hardest part was waiting-especially while I was browning garlic and onion in fat from pork chops OMG!!! smelled so good. thanks for sharing.

This video helped me so much. I've stopped making pork chops period because it always came out dry, I've literally heard ppl say "the longer it cooks, the more tender" then explaining that the if it's tough, the tissues are not broken down. I've tried a few different times on low for 6 hours, 7, 8 and it came out inedible, SO DRY every time. My chops at the local grocery are also on the thinner side, maybe half an inch. When you said "cook for 3 hours" and i did....wow...just excellent and soft and juicy. I thought I was going nuts for a while there! Thank you so much ❤️

I made this last night with cream of celery and cream of onion soups, and minus the sweet potato (didn't have any) But I did use carrots and regular potatoes. I really think the fact that I browned the meat first (like your video) it made a huge difference in the flavor. I've seen other videos where they just throw the raw pork chops (or whatever) in the slow cooker, and go from there. But this really was so much better tasting! Thanks for your great videos. I will keep watching for other ideas!

I just started eating meat again earlier this year...after 13 years going without. Pork chops were one meal I just craved! I've got a couple on hand and I'm definitely going to have to try this recipe. Thanks again! I love your channel. :)

Thank you for the recipe and I love all your recipes because they are simple, easy to follow and look yummy. Do I need to trim away the fat from the pork chop to make the dish healthier? Do I need to put on meat tenderizer before cooking ?

marie Savino If you have a large casserole dish (with a lid) you can do this in the oven. 200 degrees C / 400 degrees F for about 1.5 hours or until vegetables are tender and meat is cooked all the way through ;)

Too many people just throw raw unions and meat into the slow cooker. I think it's absolutely necessary to brown off the unions to get rid of that "raw" flavor, and searing the meat adds so much flavor. Cheers!

I want to make sometimes smothered pork chops and sometimes chicken breast and I’ll make mashed potatoes by boiling the potatoes and placing them into the bowl of a stand mixer. I’ll use the beating attachment to mash the potatoes and then replace the beater with the whisk attachment and I’ll add unsalted butter, sour cream, cream cheese, and salt and mix everything together with the whisk attachment.

OnePotChefShow I dd it in my crock pot. I used the parsnips, the rutabaga and the turnips.* NOTE ; The turnips cook faster so add the last hour of cooking* .I used cream of broccoli soup. I mixed it up with 1/2 cup salt free chicken stock and i/2 cup fat free milk. I also used grated onion and garlic. ( my daughter is not fond of onions,) I tasted it and it needed a kick. I added some Frank's hot sauce. Just a few dashes. It kicked it up a notch. I cannot wait to try this with beef and chicken and other variations. Thank you for posting your videos. You make terrific recipes. Praying for your health and you always. Looking forward to more great eats. Ciao.

My chops and ingredients are in the slow cooker now (no soup, just some whole grain mustard, stock cube and red lentils) - I remember when I had my old slow cooker years ago, vegetables (especially root vegetables) were to be placed in the pot first - in fact I’ve just read that in my manual! Is that not the case now? Thanks

+Michelle McDonald It doesn't matter if the soup is condensed or not, as it's only being used as a flavour base (not for soup) ;)
