I like it! I pretty much gave up on airbrushing T-shirts as I do a lot of painting on canvas and when I smeared some house paint on a brand new t-shirt I was wearing I took some of the house paint and made some neat designs on the t-shirt to make it look custom vs paint shirt. It turned out really nice except after washing a few time I noticed house paint wasn't as flexible like Createx fabric paint so I looked on you tube for hand painting t-shirts and found you. I'm happy, thanks Patrick!
I don't want to "overdo" this, but you are truly talented, and I hope that you know that. I do not know how long you have been interested in art and the artist that you are, but it was a joy to watch. To be honest, the beauty and simplicity with which you did this was moving. Keep up the good work, sir!
Sunny ali You can use fabric medium which you mix with acrylic paint so that it won't harden on clothes and make them stiff. You should then heat set it when the paint is dry with a piece of paper and a clothes iron so that the color may be permanent when it's time to wash and won't fade. Be careful not to burn the paper, lower the temperature otherwise.
I use a pencil but I rarely get real detailed with it. Because it's hard to get to show up. A charcoal pencil is a good idea though. Thant may be better. Thanks for watching
The fundamentals are key but sometimes just attempting the project first will help you learn a ton. When you first start keep your budget low so if you mess up it won't cost ya a bunch. Thanks for the comment and I hope you will video respond with your finish masterpiece!!
this is really smart, imma start painting shirts too, it cost way less then a canvas does haha only reason i even use canvas right now is because my school provides them for free lol but once i graduate i'm switching to shirts for sure X)
i've tried painting a shirt with acrylics but after putting it in the washer and the drying it in the dryer, the paint sort of wrinkles and i have to iron it straight. i used liquitex acrylic paint, is there a better acrylic paint that won't wrinkle as much? would mixing it with golden gac help? or am i better off with another medium such as (simplyscreen, ect)?
I have a nice Levi's jacket I would love to paint the back of. This video will come.in great handy! But I do have a question. It is a rather dark green, should I still bleach it down as you suggested?
you are a champion mrJ, a true arteeest... also, I think I might have to steal the bald head beard combo... I have a gnarly beard, and usually shave everything back to maintain a constant... however, giant beard + bald is the way I am going to go.
You told us which paints to use but do you use any other kind of medium with the paints such as water or oil?? Also, will this shirt be machine washable?
Really good video. It was mesmerizing to see you create such a wonderful piece of art. Although I really wish you listed the colors/paints you used in the description.
Which color you use sir i have a fevicryl brand paint for febric cotton polyster any tshirts but after wash my color is little bit gone Please tell me sir which color i use after wash paint is not gone on tshirts
How do you make acrylic paint stay on clothes cuz I recently painted some sweatpants but im afraid to wash them cuz i worked so hard on that to just wash off?
Does it stay after washing it in the washing machine? The problem I presume with these types of painting is that the painting deteriorates over time after washing it, the color fades, splits appear on the paint, etc etc.
Maybe I should start fabric painting.
There was something very satisfying about watching this

It's not only rewarding but also cool to wear a shirt you hand-painted yourself. Good job!
It's a joy watching you paint.

``` `moon `` ` †ears`` Bro which acrylics paint is this? Can you tell me
Sunny ali any would work
If you use paint specifically for fabric, like screen printing paint ink, all you got to do is heat set it and it should be fine.
